    Camera = insane.

    Wow. I'm loving Trials HD, but where the heck have the camera options gone? I spent so many hours using Direct mode in Trials 2 Second Edition and now I'm stuck with this crazy angle-changing camera. It's nothing but annoying and makes things harder in a bad way (I don't get as good a feeling for my orientation). I'm sure I'll get used to it, but as a big Trials fan who's so used to Direct mode it's a really frustrating omission.

    A complete lack of camera options, with such an active default camera, is just plain crazy! Options are goood.

    Covak

    P.S. Yay for 60 FPS.

    The camera is without doubt the worst thing about this game. Its really really annoying. Its starts to zoom and tilt in the middle of a jump, making it harder to do a nice landing. Often it zooms so much in that I can't se my back wheel. Going up steep hills without seeing my back wheel is horrible. Thats where you have all your weight, and it doesn't even show on screen?!?

    Direct in Trials 2 was perfect. It doesn't have to be direct in Trials HD, but you should at least have an option to make it a bit more static. No automatic zooming and tilting of the camera. It just sucks!!

    i agree there needs to be more options but i cant say i hate the camera. when it zooms and stuff and you get a bit confused its just a little bit more challenging but i dont recall it happening so often that its a problem...

    it came in handy yesterday, when i made a part inside and the original camera went outside of my inside and i had to make it behind the rider so it wouldnt go outside

    Ok... A few days of playing the game, and I have gotten used to the camera. It isn't that bad after all.

    But that you cant always see the whole backwheel of your bike is a real problem and should be fixed. Its difficult to keep balance when you cant see when the wheel is connected to the ground. Especially on maps like "Goin' up" this is a problem for me.

    I don't know if this is a problem in all resolutions , but it happens at least in 1920x1080.

    Seriously? Am I the only one having problems seeing the back wheel of my bike on certain tracks? On tracks like "King of the hill", its very difficult to keep balance because I can't see if my wheel is touching the planks or not. Especially when you start going backwards down a steep slope, it's very difficult to gain control because I can't see whats back there.

    I play the game at 1920x1080 on a monitor. Maby I should try some other resolution.

    I consider this a bug, and bugs should be fixed. Are you aware of this? Have you actually seen it for yourself? Should I make some pictures of it, proving my point?

    I can't say its ever happened to me. You do need to try other resolutions and just to be clear, you ARE using a widescreen monitor right? If its not, I don't think you would be able to see all of the picture in 1920x1080

    Yes, I use widescreen monitor wich supports 1920x1080. My xbox is set to 1920x1080 too.

    Nothing is cut away from the screen. The game looks allright. It's just that the camera zooms so much that my back wheel is cut at the bottom. That happens especially when I go up steep hills, and starts to go backwards when trying to get balance.

    You sure you dont have any ASPECT setting turned on like "wide fit" or "stretch" that can usually cut stuff out on your monitor...but now I recall that something in the Xbox video settings maybe be to blame.... trying to think. I remember playing Rockband then choosing a different setting still in 1080 but I did notice some of the picture by the edges was gone/a little zoomed in...hard to explain away from my Xbox but I have a feeling its that........
