Do you have to knock down all 10 pins for this? if so anyone have any tips?

yep all 10. I prefer to jump of the bike pretty early and just try to steer poor guy to pins. usually it takes 4 jump to get all.

You get an achievement worth 15 gamerscore.

I got the ach the first time i reached those pins. For some reason my bike exploded, and the explosion knocked down all the pins.
