hey guys,
new to the forum as you probs already know. i'd just like to say congrats on a masterpiece i'm truly addicted, played the pc demo a few years back but never got round to getting the full version. Bought it on day of release for XBLA and have not played anything else since.
in the main menu there's an option for downloadable content i guess there are plans; questions for ya
what and when?????????(i'm obviously hoping for new tracks and perhaps new items for the track editor)
thanks again for the best game ever lol
The game supports new tracks, new tournaments and new editor objects in DLC packs. And all XBLA games can add also 3 new achievements in their DLC packs.Originally Posted by rickydude

Overall its a 9/10
Having played Trials SE since last winter, with a pretty decent ranking, I wasn't looking forward to this new version, I figured you can't beat TSE.
I borrowed a friends Xbox after he bought the game, played for a couple hours.
Actually completed all the tracks, lot of faults of course!
It looked and felt somewhat cheesy, I was disappointed and went back to Trials SE.
2-3 weeks later, my buddy offers to lend me his Xbox, so I can really try it out.
So I play offline for about 2 weeks, get lot of medals, but it never remembers my score.
Decide to bring it to work and try online playing, I started to get hooked!
Long story short.... Went out and bought an XBox just for Trials HD.
It may not be anywhere near as hard as TSE, but it's loads of fun, all in all, a Really cool game!
Is there a limit (not production wise, as that's obvious, but) "Xbox live-wise" for the amount of dlc packs you can do, and the size of them?Originally Posted by sebbbi
I mean, does microsoft have any specific limits to how many dlc packs you can make and publish, and what's the limit for how much you can put in some dlc pack, and the "physical" size of it (bytes).
Well, I think three is the base because World at War and Fallout 3 both have at least three DLC packs. Size-wise I'd figure 500MB to a 1GB? The World at War map packs are usually at least 200-400MB.Originally Posted by GermanScientist
yeah I think 3 is the number. even the Maw had just 3. Who knows, MS might charge devs more for wanting to release over 3 dlc?
Ace Combat 6 has about 40 planes you can download, each must be around 10-20MB at least... if the DLC size is small enough I don't think they care how many you make.
