New track up, it's my DLC contest entry, feedback is much apreciated. I have some pretty neat scenery going on in this one and some flow also, but it's still a lower level Extreme

Well i guess you want some honest feedback so here goes..

Theme is cool.. kinda stargate or something like that

I dont like dirt floors cos they are too slippy..
The cameras on the 3rd and 4th obstacle are weird. I cant even see the drop on the 4th
Riding up the stairs is annoying but its an obstacle I guess. What about putting a plank after the obstacle so i dont have to ride soooo many stairs.
On the rocks it is very hard to see where the riding line is.
    Waterfall is very cool.

    Best time 5 faults, 1:22.536

Hey Chopper. I'm digging you're DLC entry. The atmosphere is awesome (the transition between cultural influences was done very well) and the line is fun to ride--it's clearly an extreme but somehow it has flow to it.

The only thing that threw me a little (at least for the first few runs) is the camera at checkpoint 2. I think it could probably be remedied by removing the two triangle pieces that are in the foreground of the rider, and replacing them with an outline of a triangle done in individual concrete steps so that you can look through them. It would likely fix the camera issue and maintain the aesthetic continuity.

The only other minor thing is some texture overlap at checkpoint 2. Along the left edge of the platform that the rider sits on, the end-cap texture is split in half diagonally by the platform texture.

Those were the only nitpicks I could find. It's a very well done track!

-Yeah, not everyone likes dirt but for what I wanted to achieve it was needed. I have however made the pahtway to the stone moutain paved with wood planks, but can't do more at this point.

    -Cameras fixed

    -Stairs fixed

    -Mountain line fixed

Thank you very much for your valuable input.

Thank you very much Grimm, your concerns have been heard and fixed, well at least I think so but not sure about the end-cap texture stuff, but I think this part is ok now.

    Hey mate,

Yeah your track is pretty sweet!!

I like your genorosity when it comes to checkpoints.

You know when you get to those three wierd symbols that require the back wheel technique, I feel the checkpoint would be more beneficial if it were closer to the symbols. And just to comment on the symbols, man those things are little *****es

Other than that I like it.

Thanks Walton. I made the checkpoint closer to the sculptures and I also made them easier and more flowy by lowering the first one.

I have been working hard to make the map enjoyable for flow nuts out there, I don't think I can improve my track much more at this point, the only thing I need is some feedback from the flowmasters

It's an extreme and I can get flow and enjoy it. And I hate extremes. Getting stressed getting over I stupid jump to get stuck at the next ain't fun for me. But your extreme gets the thumbs up. Which can only be a good thing going on

Thanks Raist, making it flow sure isn't easy but I sure agree that it makes it more enjoyable, even if I come from the school of no-flow

Awesome track QC!!! Really I love it. I think that, it is soft extreme, but really nice line. It is one of my fave. Good luck!!

Re: Wait, QcChopper's latest track has FLOW!?!?

    QcChopper's last map has FLOW!!!

Thanks a lot FMS. Since yesterday I have been buffing it, tweaking it, and polishing it. I must have watched over an hour of my own replays on my track to find even the smallest detail to nitpick and relentlessy try to make it perfect, and by that I mean just like I want it to be.

All I have to do now is make sure that the flow is excellent, it is very nice IMO but I would like some input from one of the many flowmasters here to see if we are on the same page.

The difficulty is meant to be between King of the Hill and Going Up, did I nail this **** or what?
