Hi Mr Chopper,
Well what an I say, one word sums up this latest offering - "Fantastic"!!! You said I'd enjoy it and you're absolutely right. I think it's probably THE best user-created track I've tried so far. Better than "Sunrise Climb", better than Kellemann's "InsanityV2.0", better than 'Clmib of Pain' by Tomek and yes, better even than 'The Complex'. And this comment on a Beta version too. Ooh, I can't wait til you've spruced it up a bit and decided it's finished!
Well, you asked for feedback, so I'll dispense with the praise for now and give some more constructive comments. Firstly, it's damn tough, but not frustratingly so which is good. I think the frequent checkpoints are one of the reasons for this. There's no where I'd add another or take one out so I think you've got them spot on. It's also a surprisingly fluid course aswell for one so difficult. Secondly, there's a bit early onthink Chk4 - Chk5) where you start on top of 2 tyres and then hop to 1 tyre and then up onto a stack of 5 tyres. Not sure if it's intentional but you can jump straight from the 2 tyres to the stack of 5. Just thought I'd point that one out in case you wanted to move them a little, you don't want to make it too easy now do you!
The only other thing I'd say is that the end boss (which is just pure genius, by the way) is probably a little confusing the first time. I know you've added a couple of arrows (and maybe I'm just a bit of a thicky) but I couldn't work out what I was meant to do the first time I got up there. Do I need to get on his hands to flip up to the platform above his head? Do I need to set myself on fire and ride into something to kill him? Once I'm up on the top level do I try to jump up to the right and carry on or keep reversing back until I'm over his head? I just don't think it's particularly obvious at the moment. Other than that it's just brilliant!
Oh, I suppose you'd like to know my time/faults too, whilst I'm here? Well, nothing like your 12 faults I'm afraid. My 3rd and best go so far was 51 faults and 4:52mins. What's that? You want to know my first go you say? Hmm, [mumble] 229 faults and 19:16mins. ; )
Look forward to the final version now...

Thanks a lot L0rd, glad you enjoy my work...
I just received a message on LIVE by CHRONiC HYDRO, who needed to say to me that my tracks are stupid, when I asked why he said they have slowdown, no flow and too much stopping/starting. I don't think that's what we can call constructive criticism... Like my tracks or not, I put my heart and soul into this and saying my tracks are stupid is like saying I am stupid. I think that when you can create stuff, you can also respect the creations of others. Ppeople who can't create can only destroy. I am open to criticism, you don't have to like my work but there is no need to be insulting![]()
Back to the main purpose, I am aware of this little shortcut, L0rd, and I don't think it's that easy, I might leave it there. I will modify the boss so that the way to go but only at the end part, I didn't want the boss to be too hard but I wanted people to figure it out a little. The camera sucked, I didn't notice that the camera on the top floor was in the way of the floor below, that is not staying.
No, you're courses are definitely not stupid. Stupid implies that not a lot of thought went into it, which is one criticism that can't be aimed at your courses, that's for sure! I guess this guy likes the kind of courses that feature lots of speed and big ramps and loop-the-loops. Fair enough, there's nothing wrong in that, I enjoy them myself occasionally - but the thing is, there's no leaderboard of rider's times for user-created courses to compare yourself against and that, for me, is the main point of a fast course and the thing that makes you play them over and over. So when there's no leaderboard it all boils down to just you against the course so what's going to make you play it over and over? What's going to give it that 'one more go' appeal? For me, it's something tough and technical, something that requires you to use power, braking, balance and timing to perfect. When it's only you against yourself and the course, these are the things that keep you coming back. Attaining a 0 fault ride on a tough course is a more satisfying achievement than knocking 0.1 secs off your time when there's no leaderboard! And that's why I think courses such as your own are amongst the most popular outside of the official tracks and why this guy doesn't know what he's talking about. Ok, I'll get down off my soapbox now! ; )Originally Posted by QcChopper

Hey Chopper, I've been watching your levels on youtube for a bit now, and I'm very impressed. If you can find room on your list, I'd love to get them from you. my GT is also ******stack. I have only made one level so far, in which I used up almost all my ideas. I'm reasonably proud of it. It's quite long, and i ran out of pieces i could use (and be able to save it), so it's far less decorated than I'd like, but all in all, I think it's quite good for a first attempt.
I imagine that you probably are constantly bombarded with friend requests, so just a day's worth of friend-ing will suffice. I've got some ideas for new levels, but I've been too busy lately to be able to pour much time into the editor. If you like what I've made, maybe we can add eachother every month or two and trade our new stuff.
damn dude ya need a really big disclaimer for ya tracks; they are indeed extreme

This track is one of my hardest IMO, but the technical nature of the obstacles make it learnable, as I always try to do. Once you did it a few times it gets easier, this is one of my favorite tracks to ride of my creations because the obstacles need advanced techniques and it is making me a better player.
I don't care much for the leaderboards, it's very nice but for me it's not about proving anything, I spent about 10% of my time in ranked tracks and 90% in user content, but I have become a way better player for doing my own tracks and other people's extreme tracks, now the game's extreme tracks don't seem so extreme no more(there should be an EVIL LOL smily, I would use that a lot)
The Boss was done as an experiment, I wanted to see what I could do in that sense. I am generally satisfied with it although I wish it was better, but I don't have many ideas for improving it because there are technical difficulties involved that I'll have some troule getting over, also, there will be some added polish in the final version, but I found this track pretty hard to dress up so it won't change very much.
Ahriman beta2 is up, added a few fiery occult symbols and minor tweaks. Added some important bigfixes to The Complex as well
I upped the final versions of Fogged Up Night and Ahriman tonight, please redownload.
All my track were added on http://www.trialshd.net Post your scores!
I would be honored to try your tracks.
If anyspace becomes available please let me know or add me.
My GT is : original tonyg
OMG dood I have finished The Complex and it was soooo frustrating and fun at the same time. I high fived myself on each checkpoint. Good work, I need to upload my track scores for this one as I'm proud enough just to have finished it.
Good Job
