And the Silver Members can still take advantage of the online stuff would be great marketing.
And another final thought would be, even though Summer of Arcade promotes you quite a bit, the time you are releasing is so crowded. By the Other summer of arcade games, non SoA games, expansions (ie. Gears of War 2 and Fallout 3). I really hope you do well, seems like alot is going against you, and by the looks of it places are liking your game, even if I have not heard of the personally.
IMO, the best short answer to this question is that Trials HD is a unique game. You DON'T have any alternative, no game even comes close to this experience. It's not like a shooter for example, they're everywhere and the genre is pretty saturated and overdone. This game on the other hand is a fresh concept, and the price is ridiculous IMO.
But the skeptics will be confounded soon after the realease date, mark my words.
Lets see how it goes. Everyone who has played it loves it. There are few negative comment but they are usually for people who havent seen video or played the game. And in Live the key is that you have to have good demo and good game. I think those are covered.

I think that Trials HD and Trials 2 SE look a bit like boring games in screenshots, so I can understand why some people may react on the price.
I remember i looked at the game in some screenshots, it looked like a new version of Elastomania, witch I have played to death, many years ago.
But I downloaded the game and tried it. I was overwhelmed by the gameplay, it was fun, addictive, and it never quit to impress me, it's still like that.
I have problably over hundred of hours of gameplay in Trials 2 SE, and I will most likely get a hundred more.
Thats more gameplay I could sqeeze out of Killzone 2, Gears of War and even Fallout 3, witch I payed 60 bucks for.
I really hope people will try out the demo of Trials HD before they judge it, it will problably be just as great as Trials 2 SE.
It might have been considered expensive if it was priced at 50 € - but this price is far more than acceptable![]()
The only downside is that it's not on the PC yet... But I'm a patient person.

well look at battlefield 1943 which has just come out on XBLA, 3 maps, 3 classes, most coming from the very first battllefield 1942 on pc. £9.99. But in the end its just another FPS to keep people going until bad company 2 comes out. trials HD on the other hand, over 50 tracks and an editor???? more than worth the money!!!!Originally Posted by ObeliX

Oh there is this Indie game (formerly known as community games) called Exhaust, that has the same objective as Trials, but if you try it, you'll soon discover that the controls are horrible.Originally Posted by Tuxthepenguin2

Our old fridge got broken, and the garbage dump pick up service was 60 euros just to pick up the old broken fridge... Four times the cost of Trials HDOriginally Posted by QcChopper![]()
