Red Lynx have taken all of the successful elements, improved them a thousand fold, and delivered one of the best looking 360 games - and certainly a lead contender for Game of the Year.

    Another 9.0 from CVG: http://www.computerandvideogames.com....php?id=221225

Most of their complaints are about the harder levels and (of course) the lack of multiplayer.

Metascore is up to 86%, which puts it over Battlefield 1943 and 'Splosion Man and hot on the heels of full price releases Fight Night Round 4, Madden 10 and BlazBlue. Nice going.

One of my favourite games (until tomorrow , is Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2, which is a VERY easy game to pick up and play... but to be any good at it (top 1000 leaderboard), takes months of dedication and play every day. This is one of the main reasons Trials HD caught my attention.. Just because something is hard, doesn't mean it isn't worth putting the effort in..
An 8.3 from IGN is actually VERY good as they are very very harsh on most games these days unless it's a big blockbuster game which they just give a 9.9 or 10,

IGN also don't put much time into playing their games before reviewing them, this has been known for years on that site, your best sticking with Eurogamer as they play the games for hours and try ALL the features.....

And don't get me started on Gamespot's review, Trials HD is a bit "light on content"?!? did they even play this game as it is PACKED full of content! they even got the total track count wrong (they said 31 tracks, there are 50 something in the game)

Hi, I posted my review of Trials HD on my site, you can find the link in my signature just below as I got a bot error message when trying to add it in this post. I gave it 9/10 which I think is a great score. Hope you enjoy reading it and please leave any comments on the review, this is my second games review that I have wrote and am still getting used to writing them.

9/10 is damn good, and the review is good and detailed.

    Re: Trials HD reviews

As for lack of multiplayer I dont think the game needs it. I do think that a nice touch would be like a ghost of the fastest person on your friends leaderboard or something being visible upon request so you can see where you're going wrong. though that sounds too complicated to implement so ignore me!

Also on that note...the bit at the top of the screen with a little arrow showing a friends name. I dont get it at all. I thought it was showing how fast they did the level but it seems to go back and forwards all over the place at times. Im sure its obvious but can someone explain exactly what its showing?
