89 metascore!
http://www.metacritic.com/games/plat...ox360/trialshd
The best metascore of all in the recently released Xbox 360 games category (including box retail games)! Lets hope it stays up there.
In comparison:
Trials 2 SE: 82
Recent top Xbox Live Arcade releases:
Secret of Monkey Island SE: 87
Splosion Man: 84
Marvel vs. Capcom 2: 84
Worms 2 Armageddon: 84
Battlefield 1943: 83
Turtles in Time Re-Shelled: 61
Looking pretty good so far. Lets hope we get more favorable reviews in the next few days![]()

Why am I not suprised IGN gave Trials HD the lowest score so far? I'll even go as far as saying 8.3 will probably be the loswest score Trials HD will see, further proving IGN are a bunch of idiots.Originally Posted by QcChopper
Game deveoplers take note, if you want your game to recive a high score from IGN, say a 9.0 or above, make sure you include one of the following words in your game title...
"Mario" "Zelda" "God of War" "Halo" "Gran Turismo" "Metal Gear" "Metriod" "Grand Theft Auto"
For instance, if this game was titled Halo Trials HD, and the bikers were wearing Spartan helmets, IGN would of gave it a 10 for sure![]()

8.5 score.
well .. presentation 8.0... hmm... dont push so much polygons.
Yes, I thought that was an ill-judged score - it's a sweet looking game.Originally Posted by ANBA
I don't get the 8 for presentation either. The menu's are functional, the game is 60fps, the game looks great..Originally Posted by ANBA
Oh well, can't argue opinions I guess. It looks great to me![]()

The only downside in both reviews was the level sharing - in that Trials HD didn't have Little Big Planet type global sharing. Is this at all possible within the contraints of XBox Live (i.e. accessing servers that aren't MS ones in game?).
