Ok, so along with Trivia, i've decided to throw in some Poker for fun!

Unfortunately, the version i have is only playable in an IRC agent, and even more unfortunately, it won't work with Crosshairs one!!!

Having said that, and you are still interested, I would recommend HydraIRC as it's free and simple!

Most of you already know how to use IRC agents, and use them well! (if not, i will provide insturctions in this thread where you get stuck)

So here's what you do...

Join #poker (/join #poker)

once there are two of you, type: nhle start. This will simply iniciate the poker game.

You will need to type: add - so this will add you as a player in the current round. you will need two players, and you both need to type "add". (instructions appear on screen once poker is initiatied)

once you have done that, both of you type "begin".... wallah, you're playing Poker.

some basic commands (if you know poker, they are simple).

add, remove, remove player_who_has_quit, sit out, back/sit in
bet x, call, check, fold, raise x, raise to x, allin/all in

As i mentioned, it will not work in the Trials2 SE Chat. this is due to the personal messages the bot sends out with your cards etc.

Have fun guys! I was playing today and it seems to work pretty smoothly once you have it sussed out .

Update: it appears that starting poker is harder than it has to be... i can start the poker game from here for now... so for the time being, i'll have to initiate poker if we want to start a game. Sorry guys, will work on a fix asap.
