I've never played multiplayer games either on PC or my XBOX, which I bought for Bioshock a couple of years ago. As such I've never even tried to get online with it. Is this the only way we'll be able to play Trials HD? Will it be possible to purchase the game any other way?
Sorry if these are dumb questions, I'm not a gamer, though have been obsessed with Trials 2 and Trials 2 SE since early last year. I'm willing to figure out XBox Live in order to play Trials HD if necessary.
Thanks and congratulations on Trials HD!
You can only download the game demo or buy the full version when you are connected to Xbox Live. It's very easy to do, just connect your Xbox with a standard network cable to the internet and it should automatically connect to Xbox Live. When connected, click on Xbox Marketplace and the game should be visible there. The Xbox Live marketplace even easier to use than Steam, so buying the game is very easy.Originally Posted by PowderJay
To play Trials HD you do not need the premium Xbox Live Gold membership, the free Silver membership is enough to use all the game online features: leaderboards, global ranking, in-game friend comparison, replays, track sharing and online achievements. With the free Xbox Live Silver membership you can also chat with your friends and download free game demos, movies etc. Basically the premium gold membership only offers peer to peer multiplayer online gaming and video chat as extra features compared to the free silver membership.
