So, Jorma said in the chat channel that the game only has one camera mode, and that it's like the Action camera in Trials2. I guess most people use Action in T2SE, but there are almost as many who play Direct camera. I'm one of themAction camera is almost a different game, it's really hard getting used to it after so many hours on Direct..
is it impossible to implement Direct so we at least have 2 different angles to choose from? We don't need the other modes like headlight, flyby, static etc.. but at least the 2 most used angles to choose from would be nice.. what say you, devs?
This question has already been answered in another thread. The new Trials HD camera is not action camera from Trials 2 SE. It's a completely new camera that is not as "active" as the Trials 2 SE action camera. It's more stable and less floating around. All Skill Games also have their own cameras, as we needed slightly different camera angle, zooming, panning etc for each skill game. Some far away zoomed skill game cameras (jump in flipper, target hunt) behave more like the "direct" camera from Trials 2 SE. Programming multiple selectable camera modes for every of the 12 skill games would have been a messy task, and the result would not have been as polished as it is currently. Now each 13 game modes (trials + 12 skill games) have their own camera mode adjusted and optimized for the game mode's requirements.
