Yes it does all work, but they give you only 256 mb and the first update weighs 126 Mb so there isn't much storage left.

most demos, apart from arcade titles like old retro games, are way too big to download without the hard drive.

Oh I didn't know that, but it doesn't really apply to me though. When I tried the X360 disk that was bundled with my console, it would not work + it made an awkward sound and said something like: "Use this disk with a XBOX 360 console"

Now I just came back with a new one, I'll try it soon.

Yay for laser burns! Did you move your console with the disk spinning?

Qc: Good luck with your new one! Hope it works!

Loiske: Strange that unplugging and plugging in the screen again will work. Since the monitor should really have anything to say to the DVD. he he...

    Re: Ok guys, calm youselves.

Let me tell you about my little day yesterday. I came back with my 2nd X360, It doesn't want to read the 5 game compilation bundled with the console either. I returned it and the 3rd one didn't work too When I came back to the store, they told me they have tried one of the consoles I brought back earlier, and it worked. Apparently it was the compilation DVDs that were all faulty. What a load of crap. hey gave me 10$ off to take one with the defective DVD, which I didn't care much for anyways.

But now I'm all set, I tried UFC 2009 undisputed, and I liked it so much I actually pulled an all-nighter with a friend. This and Fight Night Round 4 will probably keep me busy until Trials HD.
