Edt: I just came back from the store with a X360 arcade and a VGA cable, yay!! ready to go
Lol cool!! didnt think you'd be that fast!!! And its good to see you did your homework on the hard drive front!! so whats your gamertag bro? Still QcChopper? Mine is Cheezyb3an, add me if ya want, did you get any games with it or anything
My tag is still QCChopper, I'll add you later, with my network connection it's either PC or XBOX, I don't have a router... I don't have games yet, nor do I plan to buy any in the near future. I'll probably rent UFC this weekend, we'll see what it feels like.

Oh and to anyone wishing to plug a X360 to a PC monitor, just get the VGA cable, it even has a male/female adapter bundled with it. I am one happy camper

Oh I didn't know that, but it doesn't really apply to me though. When I tried the X360 disk that was bundled with my console, it would not work + it made an awkward sound and said something like: "Use this disk with a XBOX 360 console"

Now I just came back with a new one, I'll try it soon.

mine did that too while ago,(the "use this disk..."problem) but it was because my monitor doesn't like the xbox's HDMI input, sometimes i'll have to unplug-plug-unplug-plug(etc.) the cable to get it work. sucks prettymuch but it's only way to get it work(it took a while to figure when i bought it, though )

QcChopper, or anyone else with X360 arcade, is it possible to use all the xbox live features without having one of the microsoft "native" hard disks?

    Basically does the following work?
Downloading and playing a couple of big demos.
