    Local multiplayer?

Is there some kind of local multiplayer and/or partyplay in the game? Can you easily switch between users if I have a friend visiting?

Yes, we have implemented our own local session track leaderboards for offline profiles to allow party playing. You can create any amout of offline Xbox profiles for your friends visiting you and race against them. You can either log in with one profile at a time, press guide button to log off and log in the next player, or you can log in with all profiles simultaneously. When multiple profiles are used, the profile who has opened the track/difficulty selector is the active one. You can simply switch the player by pressing back with the active player, and the player who presses "A" to enter the track/difficulty selector is the new active player.

I was wondering if there would also be an kind og split-screene mode?! So two players could play at the same time That would be fun!

No split screen mode or any kind of simultaneous 1 vs 1 multiplayer racing supported.

i suppose that would take a lot considering you are running the game at 60fps, and having to run the screen twice would affect it?

Yes, you are correct. Split screen multiplayer would affect performance significantly. Not exactly halve the frame rate, but at least drop it by 30%. It's not likely that we support split screen multiplayer in future Trials games, but we might for example have multiple riding lines side by side and each player playing on their own riding line. Identical riding lines or two times riding on opposite lines would make it a very fair race. This kind of multiplayer would just require us to render two bikes instead of one, and would not require considerably more performance to run smoothly (basically same kind of performance requirements compared to ghost racing). But this is just one idea how to implement multiplayer to Trials series in some point in the future. And my future projections are not always that correct

Yeah that could be cool, to be able to have simultaneous racing on the same track!! with the way the editor is now for trialsHD, would there be any possible way of you guys being able to do this as a DLC pack for the game? which would further expand replayability on top of what is already a solid replayable game!!

DLC packs can only include content updates (including script), not entirely new program code.

The game has support for DLC, as you can see from the Xbox Live Trials site feature list. So we have the possibily to release new tracks for example in the future:
    - 1 Player
    - In-game Dolby Digital
    - HDTV 720p
    - Storage Device
    - Content Downloads
    - User Creatable Content
    - Leaderboards
    - Player Stats
