OK so my first level is now out for people to have a go at if they fancy.
The level is called 'Radioactive'. The whole gig is a bit ******ed .. but have a go if you feel like it.
INSTRUCTIONS -- Don't worry -- it's easy!
1) Install inferno II exactly as sebbbi writes
2) Find the file called 'Inferno II.xml' in your 'levels' directory -- you just copied it there!
3) Open it using Notepad
4) Change the ambient lighting line to this exact sentence
<ambientlighting r="5.95" g="5.90" b="2.90" />
5) Save the file using the same filename (NOT .txt as notepad tries to do) (use save as ... and add .xml to the end of the filename if it's not there. Basically the little icon should NOT be of a notepad!)
6) Start TRIALS 2 -- select 'inferno 2' -- and enjoy 'radioactive'. Can you handle riding on this alien planet? I doubt it -- PROVE ME WRONG!

7) I will reverse engineer the 'lvl' file and give a 100% new track soon unless someone important tells me not too (started, but darn checksum needs some tracking down .. after that it's just trial and error).

One reason why editor is not released is that it would increase the number of records on the server and increase network traffic. If a player is found to have excessive number of records for unsupported levels (possibly due to reverse engineering the track format), it will lead to banning that player from the trials2 server.
If modifying a track and playing it is done to get top dog and top score achievements, it can be considered cheating and that will result in banning too.
what is reverse engineering, im curious ?

No problem don't ban me! I have stopped. For some reason with my first hours play was just churning hundreds of stupid traffic cones onto the level anyway that I could ride through!!

I checked our score server with Sipe, and seems that couple of user created tracks is not going to be a problem. But please do not use this track as a way to cheat top dog achievements.
Would it be really hard for redlynx to make just 10 new basic tracks
