I think you are overreacting a little bit... But I hope something happens soon, as nothing has happened at all since I bought this game around christmas.

After Trials 2 Second Edition release, half of the Trials team was kept allocated for the finished project and was full time upgrading the game for free for over half a year. We did this to improve the game for our fans completely for no extra charge, and it cost a lot of money for the company. It's just impossible for a small developers like Redlynx to develop and release free new content to all our games for a long time periods after the game releases. Half a year free content upgrades after the release is already painful economically. And many of the new tracks in patches were done by us developers in our free time (weekends, summer vacation, etc). Compared to several major big budget developers, I think we have supported and upgraded our game very well and offered a nice amount of free new content.

In a perfect world every game could be supported for several years, and new content released monthly. Unfortunately upgrading existing games for long time periods is not economically feasible (very small extra cash flow compared to new releases), and does not help us to keep our jobs in these very difficult economical times. I personally think it's better to use the available resources to develop new games than support year old games and not release anything new.

It might seem from the surface that we are currently doing nothing here at Redlynx, but be assured that every one of us has been working 110% the last year. Many sleepless weekends have passed and 10+ hour work days have not been rare. I am sorry that we cannot please everyone, but this was the only way we could do something new and exiting.

Come on, the game is 9.99$ and you have already enjoyed it for over 120 hours . Yesterday I took my fiancee out to dinner and it was around 80 euros, and the dinner lasted 2 hours. I think you spent your money pretty well

When i saw the thread's name, i thought it had to do with... Lestropie's dethrone. That doesn't happen every day.

But no. "Lack of respect" and asking for a refund? That sounded very disrespectful, considering how much they gave us for free after Trials2's release. And they were not obliged to do this. As ToaTheBoa said, i hope you were simply overreacting cause you were in a bad day/mood or something.

    Re: Congratulations!

You sound like a snob, or a complete arse, man. Redlynx has provided quite a lot of free content, and that's not what the big corporations usually do (Valve excluded). Asking for a refund here is simply ... inappropriate.

While I agree for example the 1.09 patch could be released, I also agree it's not an easy task to do, if you want to earn your living (and dinners with fianceés). Redlynx is a small company as far as I know, so they have to think carefully what to do and what not. If everyone asked for the refund, you might as well as see no other Trials game because they'll go bankcrupt and will be closed down.

    Have you thought about that?

I think many with me would pay you guys for an upgrade.

Maybe creating some more tracks and offering them for a small sum of money would work... But there'd be also a huge crowd of people refusing to pay, and that would possibly create problems with leaderboards and who knows what else.

Trials 2: Third Edition would be an overkill I suppose

    Re: Congratulations!

Sorry if I sounded a bit to harsh but I haven't logged in much for a 6 months period and still no news at all and that just made me a bit angry considering the potential.

Please charge us money. I don't care. I just want new levels and stuff to play. Since I bought game at 1.07 or 1.06 I didn't notice many of these changes you made but I'm sure I have appreciated them unknowingly.

And about the "refund-statement", that was just my way of showing the way I felt at the moment. I off course don't want a refund for this.
