For those of us with SLI

I thought id post some small but usefull tips for sli performance.

I have 2 8800GTX cards in sli, now when i leave the nvidia control panel on default, and put the game on max settings, performance is a bit, well meh actually.

Then i started using different settings with the nvidia control panel, ive added the trails.exe in the manage 3d settings part of the panel, and set the following options.

SLI performance mode> Force Alternate frame rendering 2 ( This gave a huge boost)

    Force Vsync on!

Actually the performance boost from the new sli setting was incredible, the game didnt run quite good, somehow it managed to stutter, turning vsync on prettymuch solved that issue.
I am runnning on 1920x1200, everything on and it runs like a dream.
You might try Alternate frame rendering 1 if 2 doesnt work out for you, but so far option 2 gave me the best performance.

Im sort of hoping this works for you as well, it makes the game really enjoyable, and look awesome at the same time.

Wow, thanks for this info. The biggest thanks goes to you because I even didn't know about the Nvidia Control Center at all I fail. Btw, you have the same graphic card as me.
What FPS are you getting ingame? With this advice, I'm getting over 200 FPS at maximum, but it is usually around 150 (however, I had to turn off the force vsync. It made the fps to go down to 50 only...)

Good to hear it helped you.

I run constantly on 60 fps because of vsync, if i turn that off i get around 300 fps but it manages to stutter somehow.

I have to try this tonight. I have Geforce 7900 SLI which can handle a lot but for some reason on normal mode it stutters about every 2-3 seconds. I never play around with the settings hopefully it works.....
