Hmm... very strange. This bug was fixed for v1.08 already. Do you have the old v1.07 still installed? If you are unsure, you can download the v1.08 version here http://www.redlynxtrials.com/MediaDownloads.action or if you are using the Steam version, you can use the Steam update feature to patch your game automatically.

Hmm, I've just checked what version I have and it's 1.08 - build 60045. Downloaded it from Steam.

I'm running this game on 64bit Vista, It's not a major problem, more of a niggle (I have to close the error box and it works fine)

Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Same here. Same version, same error. Vista Ultimate 32bit, though.

Running the game at home on my Vista 64 bit Home Premium without any problems. And at work with both Vista 64 bit Business and Vista 32 bit Business without any problems. The OS version seems not to be the problem here.

For some reason the game cannot find the Windows font directory... hmm... Have you installed the game on the same hard drive as your Windows? I just realized that we haven't tested to install it to a different hard drive or partition. This could be the problem.

I have my Trials 2 SE installed on D: and Windows on C: and there is no issue here. (Windows XP SP3 and Windows Vista Home Premium.)

EDIT: And if this info helps it's on different physical harddrives.

I have the same error on Windows Vista 64 bit Home Premium. Using AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core 5000+, nVidia nForce 9600 GTO.
Using the steam version, latest just bought.

Hmm... Have you tried to install the game to same hard drive as you have Windows installed?
