normally my own ghost but sometimes one just a bit better than mine, no point me racing against the top ghosts, only see it for a couple of seconds!

No ghost.

Of my ~300 hours, used a ghost for no more than 30 minutes, only used it when testing for the fastest line of the very first obstacle in tracks. It obscures you view of the rider and your perception of what the rider and bike are doing.

Then again, these days I play without the GUI to stop myself from peeking at the time... so maybe I'm an extremist.

With your skills, ghosts are irrelevant, your awesome and i cant figure out how to beat you, but im trying hard

Anyway i often use the ghost from one of me friends, hes pretty good and we often battle for first place in our team, except that for the moment i got the lead in most tracks now, which means using a ghost of random people that are slightly faster than me.

Actually, i never thought of using a ghost at all...
Just a couple of times, to see how it looks.
Why? It's a mystery.

But like an idea, picking the ones slightly better than you seems like the best choice...

Using ghost has taught me that the game blessed Lestropie with a faster bike than it gave me.

I should start a steam group.

Nah I generally look at the top few replays, then maybe ghost to see where I should be in relation to them, and where I actually am. I rarely ever race against myself. Since my new records are generally within .5 seconds of each other, seeing two of me in the same spot really complicates things and I mess up more often.

Actually you just have to make it to Level 30; it unlocks a nitro button.
