I am new to these forums so i am sorry if this is in wrong part. I just decided it was time to join the rest of the community when i eventually managed to complete inferno about 10 minutes ago.
It was nothing spectacular but for me it was an achievement as i spent the last 4-5 hours trying to complete it and gave up several times.
Well anyway hello all and hope to be around here more often.
With me inferno = hit the first barrel -- fall over -- press 'R'.Originally Posted by NicoH

Well, there's your problem. Always press 'backspace' during the first checkpoint. Much faster and it could save hours of your life.Originally Posted by britboy
And hello to NicoH too. Passing Inferno is a real challenge at first, so well done! Fortunately there still are two harder tracks to give you even bigger challenge when you are ready![]()
Thank you for nice welcome Jorma, I am currently trying to pass diablo. God damn that level is hard. I can get past the first few obstacles but always get stuck at the mountain of rocks. Only ever passed it once but i will do it one day.
i had the same problem with the rock hill at first it was really really hard for me! but infact is reallly easy! study some of the topplayers replay's and see where they stop and what there body position.
its only a matter of placing your bike on the right piece of rock and throttle up
try looking at that part , what i used to did was record 1 single part of a track with fraps and study it, just watch there keypresses en body movement.
agreed on the rock hill. It was one of those obstacles where everyone who played it in beta was complaining over how hard it was. And then magically all of a sudden it became really easy. It's like riding a bike, once you learn it, you'll never forget how to do it.
Just wait til you get to the shooting barrels, and the obstacle right before.. that's what often breaks my runs.
Same for me in the rock hill. First it took around 10 tries to pass it, and now I get it almost every time on the first try. It's pretty hard to fail on it once you know where to land your back wheel and accelerate properly. If you do not nail it on first try, you can immediately lean forward and stop accelerating. This way you can balance the bike after failed attempts and try it over and over again without making any faults.
Thx for your help guys, i have had 100 of attempts at this god damn hill and still cant do it. I have nearly got the rest of the before without any faults so hopefully when i do manage it i will be good enough to get over the hill with no faults.
