I only see 1440x900 as the max resolution, i thought there was supposed to be more options for this with the new patch?

v1.08 supports all resolutions that your graphics card supports. The game asks DirectX of the supported resolutions.

Which resolutions that are visible in the Windows display settings are not visible in the game?

The triple monitor splitter is a hardware device, not software. You can connect it with a normal DVI cable to your graphics card. The graphics card (and the operating system )sees the whole device (and the 3 monitors connected to it) as a single super wide 5040x1050 monitor.

If I remember correctly there is a software driver (to NVidia graphics cards at least) that allows you to combine 2 monitors to form a single larger monitor (up to 3840x1200 resolution).

I searched the internet about the issue. And seems that triple monitor combined screen is only possible with the Matrox TripleHead2GO hardware splitter. Geforce drivers do not support combining 3 displays together (even if you have 2 Geforce cards and 3 displays connected to them).
