    Things to test in beta-4

    - Low and very low mode lighting has been remade (smoother and more lifelike). Check on your computer if everything works correctly. There should be a fade in at the beginning of each track (it's not a bug). Frame rate should stay the same after this change.

    - Buffer clearing has been removed on low modes. This should improve frame rate around 5% and black flickering lines on some track's walls should be also fixed. King of Beer / King of Wheels has one door without any background in the beginning and it looks quite strange. This "bug" has already been noticed since v1.04 in normal graphics mode and should not be reported again. We are thinking about changing the tracks so that the bug is not visible, but this would require us to clear the high score list of those 2 tracks. If you find more issues like these, please report the issues on the bug forum.

    - Test the game on following languages if possible: Polish, Russian and Slovak. Report all missing text or overlapping text to the language bug threads. Or if you notice some other strange behaviour like crashes and hangs.

    New chat in beta-4:
    - Tabbed interface
    - One main channel, one channel for your team and one channel for your language and country
    - All private messages separated to tabs (easier to read)
    - You can join channels by /join #CHANNELNAME command
    - You can change your nickname by /nick NEWNAME command
    - Operators can kick and ban players with /kick and /ban commands

    Concerns

Do you really want to give users the ability to change their nickname in IRC chat? If there is a way to just restrict this ability while allowing the others that would probably be better. Being able to change your nickname will just open up a whole set of issues dealing with young players trying to mask who they are, and allowing them to harrass others.

True! It would probably be the best to disable the feature completely. I do not want someone to change his name to ObeliX and then start swearing etc.
