Mobile Intel 945GM Problem [SOLVED]
Hi when I try to play Trials 2 in low config, it say's:
Unfortunately your graphics adapter doesn't have enough
video memory to run this game. This game needs at least
128 megabytes of dedicated graphics memory to run.
If you are running the game on a laptop, please check that
your integrated graphics adapter has been allocated enough
memory from your computer's BIOS screen.

My laptop have the Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset Family and i think i can run the game because the chipset have 128 mb and i can't see any option in the bios to change the memory use, please help.

The 945GM chipset doesn't have 128MB of dedicated memory. It uses shared memory, which may not be fast enough to run the game, or you may not have enough RAM.
For example, if your laptop has 256MB onboard RAM, some of that is allocated to the operating system and some to the graphics card. Your operating system is going to need most of it. Also, since the graphics chip does not have any dedicated RAM, it has to borrow from the regular RAM which is slow. For some games (probably Trials) this is too slow and so the game can't function.

But I have 1 GB RAM and other games requires 128 MBs and works for me......

Yes. Shared memory if very problematic though. Some games are OK with shared memory, some aren't. By the looks of it, Trials2 is one of the games that doesn't like it. There is not much that can be done about it I'm afraid - it all depends on how fast the game expects to be able to access the memory. And it doesn't matter how much memory you have, if the speed is too low it just can't use it.
Secondly, the game may require specific features of the GPU that your card does not supply, for example shader versions. There are a lot of factors at play.
Unfortunately, I suspect you will not be able to play the game on your laptop, you need a more powerful machine.

GMA 950 is enough to run the game. You should check your BIOS graphics memory setting. Most computers have a default of 64 MB set, so you have to adjust the setting to 128 MB.
Copy pasted from our technical FAQ (sticky tread in this forum):
"5. Laptops and integrated graphics adapters
Trials 2 is a very texture heavy game. Our materials have up to 12 different per pixel property layers. It's crucial that your integrated graphics adapter can access at least 128 megabytes of graphics memory (256 megabytes for larger resolutions), or you might experience bad slowdowns or the game might not even start at all. If you are having problems like this, please check from your bios screen that your integrated graphics adapter has been allocated enough memory. Most laptops have option to allocate between 32/64/128/256 megabytes for the integrated graphics adapter. Select at least 128 megabytes to run Trials 2 properly."

Hello, I entered in my laptop BIOS and I can't find any option to change the memory of my chipset..... maybe I need to update my BIOS or something?
-
Updating BIOS might be risky. Maybe it's better for you to wait for the incoming 1.08 patch and then try to run Trials, as there will be "Very low" mode and the game will require less graphic memory.

Yes the graphics memory requirements are cut down to half starting from v1.08. Low mode and the new very low mode both require only 64MB of shared memory to run perfectly.
