    One profile in a team

    It is really nice that you can have several profiles. But one thing about this is a bit strange. You can have all your profiles in the same team, which somewhat destroys the team rankings. The top players can pretty easily get several high ranked profiles, and if they have them in the same team it's a bit like cheating in my eyes.

    I had two profiles in TFC for a long time, but when I understood how the rankings worked I removed one of them from the team. I urge everyone to only have one profile in your team.

    Suggestion: Limit the number of profiles that one account can have in a team to one.

    This is what I thought too. It's a great idea and should be looked at.

    I think this is very good idea and also we have to consider some kind of "rank decay system" for team changes, so you just cannot change
    your team without any cost.

    Example decay over time: (14 days)

    1 = 5%
    2 = 10%
    3 = 15%
    4 = 20%
    5 = 25%
    6 = 30%
    7 = 35%
    8 = 40%
    9 = 50%
    10 = 60%
    11 = 70%
    12 = 80%
    13 = 90%
    14 = 100%

    And after 14 days your benefit would be 100% for your team.

    Feel free to suggest ideas how it should be changed.

    The main goal about multiple profiles is that your brother, sister and kids can also create their own profiles without you needing to buy extra copies of the game to the same household. It would feel quite ackward if you are penalized from playing in the same team with your brother and kids. For example our CEO and his 2 little kids are playing in the same team...

    I agree with you. Multiple profiles played by same player should not be able to attend same team. Or better yet, should not be able to attend the high score table at all. The multiple profile funtionality is there to allow other players in your household to play the game, not to allow single player to play the game with multiple profiles. In the original Trials 2, someone bought 2 copies of the game, and now there are 8 profiles in top of many easy track high score lists named [PROFILENAME]0, [PROFILENAME]1, [PROFILENAME]3, [PROFILENAME]4, [PROFILENAME]5, etc. We are quite lucky that our current top players (mrT, JukkaN, etc) are not that self centered to create 4 profiles (mrT1, mrT2, mrT3, mrT4) and flood the top of each track high score lists. But I pretty much expect this to happen sooner or later, as the player population exploded with the Steam release, and most of the Steam players are still learning to play the game. Some of these players will eventually reach the top 5 (only around 20% of the players are old players right now), and lets see what kind of problems we see then.

    PLAPS opinion on the matter.

    There really is no way to have this both ways. I myself am in a similar situation where my family members all use different profiles on my account, and three of them are on the same team. If you really want to get technical, even with this kind of restriction, theres nothing that could keep someone from buying 2 accounts in order to get multiple profiles into one team. Its best to resolve this by leaving this as is in my opinion.
