When I first got Trials 2 and saw the News link in the main menu I thought it be pretty cool because this was a feature you don't see in many other games. But all it shows is the updates you have received. I really see no reason for the wasted space.
If you fire up the game after there is an update, you have to download before you get to the game. So you already know there was an update before you even get to the news area. I have seen topics in the forums discussing upcoming updates such as new tracks, game features, etc. The news section would be a great place to see this info all compiled in one spot.
I still check it every now and then (for some strange reason), hoping something might show up. Are there plans to put any other content there? Because if not, a better name for it would be "Old News"
Yes I agree, the news area should show the updates and what changes took place so you don't have to go all the way to the internet to see the changes. example:

I think would be cool to add even "small" news. Like if new top 1 time was gained in one track OR new team is raising OR new reviews coming up et...
Is the game already setup to stream "new" news from the server on connect? Or is this information only able to be changed after an update?

news are dymanic so its "really easy". We just switch sebbi forum post mode to post ingame news mode
