    Time dependent checkpoint lights

When I play other time based racing games (like rally games) the colour of the checkpoint marker on screen goes green if you're beating your previous time and red if you're not.

It'd be really nice to have something similar in Trials 2. If you reach a checkpoint more quickly than you did the last time you tried it glows green, if you're slower, it stays red.

This would make it easier to see where you're losing time on a track.

    Anyway, its just a thought

Yes, and it should be like:

    "+0.02s" (in red)

    or

    "-0.14s" (in green)

However currently the game doesn't know about your top score, it must be downloaded from the server first. And then the game must simulate the replay to calculate all the checkpoint times. It's doable but requires pretty big changes to the system, and increases server stress a bit. This would be a very good feature I must admit.

yeah, I was worried it would require changes to the timing system.

Still, good luck, if you do decide to try it
