The price of our own version has also been lowered to match the price of the Steam version.

I am a long time user of the steam platform and I would be incredibly happy to re-purchase the game there as I believe the delivery and backup system is second to none. Is there any way to re-associate my name (Trailstar) with the new account? Or a way to active the key I have now on the steam version? Cheers,

Unfortunately the Steam system uses different license key system, so the current license keys do not work there. All the profiles are associated to a single license key. Our server admin Jukka could possibly move profiles from one licence key to another, as all Steam profiles are also on the same server. You could send him ("jukka") a PM. He is currently at summer vacation, so it might take a while.

$9.99 is a very fair price indeed.
Would have done the same 2k3, but got told it was such great value at $19.90 by staff here I bought it after 1.7 patch.
Within a day it's half price.
Way to make quick bucks eh?

The Steam version was supposed to be released on the same day as the v1.07, but for reasons out of control for us, the Steam release got delayed.
We actually changed the price in our web store silently to 9.99$ when we noticed that the Steam release is late, and suspected problems like this to happen. This was one day before the Steam release. We could not officially state this change at this point, as we were waiting for the Valve to publish a press release about the Steam version first. If you bought the game 2 days before the launch, then the price was sadly still 19.90$.
