I'll be blunt: I want a campaign mode, I want it really REALLY bad, here's why:

Each and every record is really hard to beat because they are absolute best runs. It's not that there is anything wrong with that but there is something missing for sure, because playing time is a huge factor on individual tracks. My goal here is to have a way to recompense consistency over the old "do-or-die-and-then-try-again-ad-vitam-eternam-until-I-get-that-lucky-bounce" attitude. I want to take luck OUT of the equation.

A campaign mode where you have to clear all the levels one by one without the ability to start at the beginning of a level and be ranked for the total of all tracks would be flawed also. The problem is that 99% of players won't beat the last Hard tracks and their campaign won't ever be ranked.... Maybe as an unlockable for people who have "been there" and done all tracks, maybe separate it into categories.

If there is a Trials 3, I think it's an absolute must. I love the game so much but I have to say that I was really disappointed when I learned that Trials 2 was feature complete (and I've been bugging devs about it even before SE was out) because this feature requires no real content to be added to the game or maybe it's harder to implement than I can conceive.

The sport ofTrials is about consistency, as much as I love this game, the frantic pace is too much for me. Today I spent 10 hours trying to beat Diablo flawlessly, and this was the most fun I had playing Trials 2 in months... Why? Because I wasn't stressed by time. I miss that time where every track was a challenge that required me to be smooth and steady instead of fast and aggressive, which is making me tense and stressed.

Please, add a luck & stress free mode to Trials, It's as easy as: Easy Campaign, Medium Campaign, Hard Campaign.

    Best regards,

We call it the challenge mode. It got almost implemented to Trials 2, but we didn't have time.

    Training Mode.

What would be really amazing would be to have a 'Training Mode'.
You select a track, and can choose which checkpoint to start from, to practice certain parts of the track.
Also include Save States into it. When you pass a checkpoint, the time and position of your rider at which you passed it is saved, and if you muck up, pressing backspace will take you back to that exact time and position; and in the final replay it would show a faultess run, using the best times from every section put together It should also be possible to go back a checkpoint, in case you pass one by accident or something. This will enable speedruns of the tracks, with almost perfect times on insanely hard tracks, which will look amazing! Of course it's not wise to upload these scores to the official leaderboard, but a speedrun leaderboard would be cool!

    Hi,
a very easy to do feature that I would like is to have the fault count in the map list. (yes I'm not perfect and I still have a lot of faults on some maps).

a few thoughts on the controls...

-one of the best things about this game is the accesibility. In my view this means that analogue controls should not be necessary to pass some levels, or even to gain a high ranking

-in addition to this, extra controls eg independent brakes, stand up or down, should also be introduced carefully so that they are only used at very high skill levels for the top 15 or so of fast runs and the insanely difficult levels, while the current 4 button control system can be used to pass all or nearly all levels whilst still achieving a good score

-you must be able to customise the buttons used - mine are nearly worn out and if they completely go then i won't be able to play anymore since i am using a laptop

-a way of holding the bike on the brakes would be great for the levels with checkpoints on hills. this is just for convenience since it can be done by pulsing the throttle. perhaps holding brake and throttle could do this, while using brakes alone would brake then begin to reverse

oh and another thing about accesibility: if a new trials game is released with system requirements too high for my laptop i will be devastated, so please please keep them low...or at least an option to do so

[idiot_mode]How about passing through dungeons with orcs and goblins in the background throwing rocks at you?[/idiot_mode]

On a more serious note, if Trials 3 is going to have outdoor enviroments like Mountain Heights, going through caves too looks a nice addition to me.

andyni plz dont ask about more controls , its useless why do i want the rider to move up and down? the control are fine like they are now right?

more controls would ruin the game for me

    i agree with u completely...
however a lot of people are asking for these extra controls for some reason and i was trying to make the point hat if they are included they should be non essential - even if u want to get high in the rankings. probly shuda made that clearer oops

    Wishlist

    Here's my quick'n dirty wishlist:

#1 - Leave the gameplay untouched.
#2 - Custom skins for rider and bike.
#3 - Sceneries. Outdoor, sportsarenas, urban settings & use the nondescript warehouse for the
    #4 - Trackeditor!

    ...and I'd be happy

(and, and holy sh*t, photomorti! I've picked the game up again after months, but I remember you being one position behind me on a track back then, somewhere around #800something. Dude, Kudos!)
