Sound (and music) don't work, they worked fine before the patch. They are greyed out in the menu and can't be selected. Any suggestions?

System: Abit IP-35 onboard sound (Realtek)
Windows XP SP2

Are you directly running the Trials.exe from the directory?

Start the game by using the game icon (found at start menu). Select either "Hardware Audio" or "Software Audio" from the game startup dialog. If you select "No Audio" the sound volume sliders inside the game will be grayed out.
