Improved chat
I think you could improve the chat with some new features.
First of all, you should be able to connect to the chat with a normal irc client.
Some kind of friends feature in the chat, so you can speak with your friends only. You should also be informed when one of your friends connect.
Same thing for your team.
The bot should print out something like this: Driver xxxx just broke the record on xxxx! Hurrah!
More text per line! Now you have to write long( quite short really ) sentences in several lines...
Some kind of stats command, either like /stats xxxx or a mouseover feature when you hold your mouse over someones name.
Scrolling of the chat text!
Would also be nice if you could see what level everyone is on directly in the player list. maybe in the format of E1 M1 H1 F1 W1 D1 to save space.
Will add more if I get more ideas.

If you are concerned about flooders and bad chatters promote some admins. I wouldn't mind being one of them, specially if I can use a normal chat client I could be in the chat most of the time.

+1 to the more text per line & connecting from a normal irc client. Then I could idle from work too 
Does anybody else suffer from really bad keypress lag? I type and 3 seconds later my text appears.

Hmm no don't think that has ever happened to me in the chat. Does that always happen to you?

Now you can connect to the "in-game" chat from outside by using regular irc clients.

Since we talk about the chat. When I connect from in-game, I don't see anybody else and I always disconnect after a few minuts. Any tips do solve it?
