Mac version
This is pretty unlikely I imagine, but... any chance? Any chance at all?
At the moment I have to reboot into my Windows partition every time I want to play, but I love the game so much it would make my life so much easier to have a version I could play in OSX. Has this even crossed your minds?

Trials Developer
First development version of Trials 2 was playable on Mac and Linux (and all other platforms supported by our MT technology). The game is developed on top of our platform independent MT game development libraries. We can run the same game on all supported platforms without any changes needed for the game code.
However our new high end shader based graphics renderer is not yet ported to Linux or Mac. Our old graphics renderer has a OpenGL 1.1 rendering module that is used on Linux and Mac. However the graphics quality of this renderer is nowhere near the current Trials 2 Second Edition graphics. The game looks even worse than the current Trials 2 Second Edition low end graphics mode when using this old OpenGL renderer.
But the biggest problems are really the support and testing on these platforms. Simply acquiring a good lineup of various configuration Macs (both PPC and Intel) for testing is a daunting process, and the extra testing work needed is huge if we want to assure that each configuration of CPU/GPU/MacOS is working fine.
We currently have no plans to release a port for Mac or Linux.

Awww, what a shame. Well that's completely understandable of course, thanks for taking the time to outline your reasoning.

Not knowing a huge amount about this side of things, I can't really comment on the workload other than imagining it to be pretty large.
However, I'm quite possibly switching to Linux (Ubuntu 7.10) in the near future and would like to run this.
Anybody know if the game runs on WINE or similar?
