New improved dynamic physics levels in v1.06

We have had slight problems with Trials 2 Second Edition physics engine since the first release. When physics objects with enough mass difference interact, the lighter one often starts to shake, and behaves very irrationally. This problem gets more profound when the count of physics objects affecting each other increase. Basically this problem has prevented us from creating many interesting physics obstacles.

Now we found a solution to this problem, and the physics in v1.06 behaves like it should. From now on, we are able to create much more interesting physics obstacles. Even structures made of 10-20 physics objects on top of each other are now entirely possible.

We decided to remake all our four dynamic physics levels and created one entirely new one as downloadable content. Basically we added several new more physically interesting obstacles to each of the levels, and tuned the old obstacles to be more fun. Also we added physics interaction to the level backgrounds and foregrounds (falling piles of boxes, rolling barrels, etc). Each dynamic level is also now a bit longer or has at least one alternative route.

This change means, that we have to wipe out the track high score tables of the four dynamic levels. All other 36 track high score tables are not affected.

Also as the physics now works better, expect us to create more interesting dynamic physics levels in the next level packs.

So we basically get 5 new dynamic tracks . I don't care about the records being wiped, I needed to get better times anyway.

Basically yes, but all of the four dynamic tracks each contain also slightly modified parts of the old levels, so if you have learned the old levels well, it's much easier to learn the new modified ones.

Thats going to be sweet. Don't have that good times on the levels, so its cool.

Improved physics? Great, some parts where a bit odd and sure there was place for improvement... Keep up the good work, guys

Sneak peek to new improved dynamic levels:

We added lots of dynamic objects to all dynamic levels. You can also see from the video, that the objects react more naturally to the bike (barrels and board planks are moving backwards when you accelerate on top of them, etc) and the object piles are no longer shaking that much.

    I hated that video
...Hehe, i lied. Amazing improvement and i hope the update will come right in time with my new/fixed gfx card (i hope in a couple of days) - it's been way too long without my lovely ATI X1650 (god rest its soul) and especially without... Trials!

Good stuff on the new update! Didn't take long for people to annihilate the new Tut - 1, hehe.
