Screen freezing repeatedly (WinXP + Athlon 64 X2) [SOLVED]

As the topic says my screen has a tendence to freeze.
I've read some similar posts to this one about the screen freezing, and it said that the fans could be the problem, making the graphic card overheat.

This is not the case with my computer.
All the fans seem to work perfectly fine.

Not sure what to do, some help would be appreciated.

What kind of freezes do you have? Occasional short less than second hiccups, or more frequent and/or longer ones?

Does this happen all the time or only after you have played for 2-3 minutes? Are you playing in fullscreen or in windowed mode? Do you have some programs open in background (a scheduled full hard drive virus scan for example could cause serious lag spikes)? Do you have newest drivers for you graphics card?

Please post your computer hardware specs. Graphics card and sound card models, CPU and operating system (Vista or XP). Thank you.

I have both less then a second hiccups and longer ones.
Sometimes it happes just after lauching the game and sometimes after a couple of minutes of playing.

Playing in windowed mode with no other programs running, and my graphic card drivers are as new as they can get.

Sadly, i do not know what sound card i have.
As for graphic card it's: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS
    and the rest is:
    AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual
    Core Processor 5600+
2.80 Ghz, 2,00 GB of Ram

Running with Windows XP x64 at the moment.

Does it happen with any other program besides Trials 2? I highly doubt your graphics card is overheating.

First thing to test is to run the game on fullscreen mode. The windowed mode usually has some small hiccups, as the game has to share graphics resources with Windows desktop. Also try to change the game graphics settings (found in game main menu) and resolution.

We do not have Windows XP x64 (64 bit) test computers, as this rarely used operating system is not officially supported by the game. However there shouldn't be any problem running the game on it (as it works fine on both XP 32 bit and Vista 64 bit, and your OS is basically a mix of them both). As Windows XP x64 is not that commonly used OS, the graphics and sound drivers for it lag a bit behind. Could you send us a dxdiag dump, so we could check that everything is up to date. How to do this: Open up Windows start menu, select run, type "dxdiag" to the dialog and press ok, select "Save all information" from the dxdiag main dialog. Save the txt file to your desktop, and copy paste the information from it to this thread.

Hmm... simple copy/paste has worked fine for others. If the forum doesn't work for some reason, please send the dxdiag dump using support contact form: http://www.redlynxtrials.com/SupportContact.action.

This is off topic, but I have had that exact same error every time I tried to post a .gif animation that was hosted on imageshack, and photobucket. All my other posts were posted fine though. I don't know if its that important but I figured you would want to know.

This bug should be fixed on v1.06. However we are not 100% sure. All players having this issue, please report if v1.06 works properly on your computer. Thank you!
