i think the problem is that it does not have an interface, as in tools in the program it is all key shortcuts. also if they release to the public and it buggers up someones harddrive then thay are responable..

Just remembered that exactly the way you describe was Gish's editor. Only shortcuts,a small faq etc. I never found the patience to learn how it works and create something. Hopefully there were many talented people out there with a lot patience/skills/imagination and soon we had around 100 custom lvls to play with

has anyone elce noticed a few things in favor of the edior?
notice the pictures that sebbi posted of the editor, it has been developed.
also a downloads area on the game to me suggests that they are expecing more material to be going into game than they can patch :-\
this is just me all my pokeing of the admins/mods got me no were so we just have to wait
