I absolutely cannot wait to do 2 things in this game: Customize my Character, and Customize my Weapon (G36C please ) I've always wanted a 3rd Person Shooter that would allow this type of customization in their game, while running around in an atmosphere in which I can view other bad @sses with their own cool gear and their own decked out weapons. I already know the Player customization will be fairly deep....now I'm anxious to see how far we can go decking out our firearms.

I'd like to list my desired attachments (BASED ON REALISM, this is still a Tom Clancy game), read your suggested attachments, review specific functionality of those attachments, and discuss any personalization which you would like to be able to do to really make your weapon 'YOURS'. Here's to hoping The Division will feature a variety of attachments, even if a category of them give the same benefits as others, but just to offer that sense of uniqueness and assortment. For example, if I use a EOTech 1x scope, but my friend likes the look of the AIM Point 1x scope-- having that option to choose which 'cosmetic' you like more just for looks, despite the fact they are both 1x scopes and would therefore grant the same performance benefits (if any). Same goes with a larger SureFire flash light vs. a more discrete, low profile torch.

Personalization:
Emblems, Gun camo's/paints would be the most ideal here, but even something like adding Rail Covers (various colors) can really complete a man's/woman's gun. I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to be able to choose between a few styles of Rail Covers, flip through different colors, and be able to place them on the Left/Right/Bottom rail of my gun! It was great to see some in GR:FS, so PLEASE MASSIVE! Rail Covers add more uniqueness and personalization than you might think; they are really a finishing touch!


Functionality:
Toggling your Flash Lights and Lasers ON/OFF on the fly. Battlefield 3 and 4 did this perfectly by mapping the On/Off button to the d-pad. I REALLY hope this will be including in The Division. I would not want to add a flashlight on my gun just to have it always on; I would like to toggle it On/Off depending on where I am or where I plan on going. It would making exploring SO much more epic, and Night Time exploration even more fun!! I suppose adding a slight blinding factor from a Torch would be cool, too.
Going even deeper into functionality-- certain attachments like the PEQ-2, PEQ-15, DBAL have both a Flash Light and Laser in one single unit. I would like to be able to toggle both as well: one click laser, another click flash light, another click OFF. (No need for Laser+Flashlight ON at the same time...) PLEASE MASSIVE!
Furthermore, maybe a specific type of Flash Light or Laser that turns on only when you ADS? This would be a cool option to choose as well for our guns.

Lastly, I would like to hear YOUR #1 favorite weapon and how you will customize it. EVERY little thing counts. Be VERY specific. It seems like Ubisoft/MASSIVE monitor our posts, so please be precise! The more particular we are with what we would like to see, the greater chance it can actually be in the game! Personally, I feel like if these features of Attachments, Personalization and Functionality are possible in this game, it would really have the deepest, most outstanding, and simply the most EPIC customization in any Shooter video game in history. It would really make the entire Customization aspect of the game that much more incredible. So without further ado, here's my baby:

Top Rail - EOTech XPS....please keep her stock front and rear sight posts, even with an optic attached (BF4 ripped them off )
Under Rail - Stubby Front Grip
Right Rail - Functioning Black PEQ-15(Green Laser w/ Flashlight)

Barrel - None, stock barrel.
Personalization - None, stock polymer....maybe I'd add an emblem to it, depending on where on the weapon it appears.

Don't you think that having TWO side rails would be taking it a bit too far?
My loadout would probably be this:

FAMAS (pls be in the game)
- Any RDS
- Ergonomic Grip
- Tactical Flashlight (One of those that only goes on when you put pressure on the front grip, which would be when you aim down sights)
- Muzzle Brake
- The most dark blue paint, has to be flat though

I am easy to please. I just want my MP5 with a red dot sight I'd like snow camo on it though!

I certainly don't think having two side rails would be taking it too far! I'm looking for a game with truly deep and the most realistic customization options as possible-- this includes not being restricted to one side rail. I would really love it for two rails, but if only one is available in game, I'd live.... =/

Awesome load outs! Your set-ups seems very possible for the game since they aren't too specific. Here's one of my squad mate Knucklz's optimal load out:

Modification to the rifle would be
added open-hold system
modified release system to friction-less release
red laser sight internally integrated above the barrel
tac-light internally integrated under the barrel w/ switch located above the forefinger on the fore grip
9 volt battery located in the stock to power the tac-light and laser sight

Barrel : 20 inch barrel with integrated muzzle brake with angled cut at the tip which directs the muzzle blast upward, compensating for muzzle rise.

Functionality
I would like the AFG to provide a faster sight acquisition (How fast if takes to pull up your sights) and stability. Although I don't think it should offer the speed of a vertical foregrip, but I also think that a vertical foregrip shouldn't offer the stability an AFG does.

It would be awesome if the stock offered faster sight acquisition with a small amount of stability when opened, and when folded faster movement speed while moving and aiming down the sights.

Flashlight would be able to turn on and off like any other.

45 Degree BUIS offer being able to switch between medium - long range targets to medium - close range targets with ease and speed. Having back up sights would be awesome, who knows there may be something that disrupts holo/battery sights...

The EOTech could offer the best of both worlds from a RDS and an ACOG having that 3x side flip magnifier and the speed of a holo sight. (In real life, these things are great, just don't put them all the way toward the rear of your weapon at your face. The further up you have them on the upper receiver the better.)

Pretty simple functioning durable weapon that won't weigh too much, with a couple of nice perks.
