IGN wrote an article about it, with a few examples of why Ubisoft would never write an article that way and a few things that are wrong on it.

IGN? Yeah that aint proof . Unless Ubi come out and say definitely not us then it isn't proven fake.

I'm easy - I just imagine the 'leaks' we have had - didn't happen, since nothing is official - its all rumours.. so anyone can make that stuff up…

At any point in the next 7 days is my guess.

Anyway, I don't get why people are becoming so impatient and losing sleep over the lack of any concrete details. It's not like we have 3-5 year excruciating wait plagued with misinformation and rumours before the successive instalment is announced, AC4 was released only 3 months ago. Go outside, play some video games, do whatever to keep your mind occupied until something new surfaces.

Ubi wont say anything like that. They would have to make statements for every little fake leak that's out there. They cant say something about one leak and not the other. But I don't believe anything anymore. I heard of 100 different leaks within the last month. So until I see a actual Ubi announcement, I will just keep hoping its Egypt which im 85 percent sure its not

Has not been PROVEN wrong yet but most people here think it's a fake.

Mainly because there is no "V" (5) in the title and the "Animus Background" does not look like you could really "walk in it" like it was with the other games and several other reasons.
It doesn't look that authentic, but then again, we can't rule it out completely.

But it's most likely a fake.
