    Will you need a PS plus membership for PS4 just to play alone?

    Hi and welcome to the forums, The Crew is designed to take advantage of next-gen consoles online capabilities. An explanation is here http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...=1#post9495513

    So to answer your question, yes you will do as PlayStation Plus is required to play multiplayer;

    'PS4 players will only be able to access online multiplayer if they are a PlayStation Plus member.'

    Sounds like it (given that the game returns to the title screen if you lose your connection).

    That sucks, but I guess a lot of games are going down that route now. Of course the consoles themselves would have cost more if it weren't for the fact that more people would be paying for online services. And there's always the PC option. Who knows what will happen with the Steam Boxes as well (in general, The Crew isn't set for release on SteamOS currently).
