Hello adventurers,

As announced on a previous thread (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...upcoming-Patch), we are currently working on different issues including the saves one.

If you still have corrupted saves issues, could you please help us to fix this by following these steps? Thank in advance for all your support and feedback!

To have more details about how to find saves & logs, please refer to the Reminder section of this post (underneath)

We need several informations to confirm our fixes and continue our tests.
If you could send to our Customer Support (https://support.ubi.com) all of this, we would be able to better understand and reproduce this issue.
- Information:
o Your uplay account
o Your game version
o Steam or Uplay or Retail version
o Did you use MMX on several PC? (save cloud synchronization)
o What is your language? (ingame & on your saves)
o Did you use specific characters before your save went corrupt? (if so, which ones?) / Or really long save names?
o Do you have any information about when this happened? (After a specific quests, on which act, during combat, which town etc?.) The more details you may have, the best we could understand this issue.
- Data
o A zipped file containing all your saves
o A Rendez vous log
o (Optional) Output log

It seems that some members of our team found a workaround, however this is not an official fix and we recommend you to share your saves with us before following this.

- 1. Where are my saves:
Saves are now located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX\403\ or \401
Saves are composed of 2 elements and if you need to share us some of them, you need to send both .save & .save.metadata. We recommend you to directly share your entire save folder!!

- 2. Check game version
a) Launch the game
b) On main menu, there is a number on the bottom right hand corner, you need to be on 1.3.1-14561

- 3. Obtain logs
a) Output_log.txt [Steam only] = Crash & gameplay issues report
If you have Steam version of MMX and want to report crashes or bugs, you can share with Uplay Customer Support your Output_log.txt

This document can be found in your MMX Data directory, per default: Steam\SteamApps\common\Might & Magic X - Legacy\Might and Magic X Legacy_Data\

b) Crash logs [Uplay & Steam]
Crashes logs are also available. The game automatically creates folders when crashing with different files, you need to send the entire folder (within a zip file for example)
o Uplay: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Might & Magic® X Legacy\
o Steam: \Steam\SteamApps\common\Might & Magic X - Legacy\

c) RendezVousLog.txt [Uplay & Steam] = Connection issues
In order to verify if you were able to connect to Uplay server in order to: download the patch, activate the game etc. You can send the Rendez vous log document to our CS.

To do so you need:
- to first of all, activate this feature by editing the config.txt document (with notepad for example) which can be found in (per default)
o Uplay: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Might & Magic® X Legacy\Might and Magic X Legacy_Data\StreamingAssets
o Steam: \Steam\SteamApps\common\Might & Magic X - Legacy\Might and Magic X Legacy_Data\StreamingAssets
- Find this line “enableRendezVousLogging = false” and change the false by true
- Launch the game, retry to activate the game etc.
- Share our CS the RendezVousLog.txt file located (per default)
o Uplay: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Might & Magic® X Legacy\  rendezvouslog
o Steam: \Steam\SteamApps\common\Might & Magic X – Legacy
