    Moving game to different account

    Is it possible to move a game to a different account?

    My friend recently tried giving me his Assassins Creed: Black Flag PC key he received with a GPU. He was not certain what he was doing and activated it into an account & gave me the info. He has no desire to play the game or use uplay so I will be the only one using it.

    I use Uplay ofton however and have many of my own games. its bothersome to login into different accounts in Uplay and on acinitiates.com.

    I'm also wondering what issue I may have if I buy a season pass in that account when I have to use the same info to checkout I would use in my own account.

    Can we have the game swapped over to my account instead please?

    This took place just a few days ago & we can call & show proof of purchase as well.

    Hello Mikf4il,

    There is currently no way for you to transfer games from one account to another. If you contact our support team they may be able to assist you depending on the exact details of the case, but it is likely that the game will not be moved from your friend's Uplay account to yours.

    I will call, the "Submit question" button at the support site does not seem to do anything.

    edit: The US Technical Support number gives me a busy signal. Is there an email? would they accept personal letters to the street address listed as well?

    Hello again Mikf4il,

    I'm sorry to hear that the ticket creation process isn't working for you. I just tested the system myself and ticket creation seemed to work fine for me. Is it possible that you are running an addon/plugin or have some form of anti-virus software that could be interfering with ticket submission?

    Please try temporarily disabling any extra browser, add-ons , firewalls or antivirus programs that may be running in the background. Also, please check the hours of operation for the team in your region before trying by phone. Also, try another browser, machine or connection to see if it continues. The service is currently up and running. The submitted question would act as your email to the team in your region. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

    I do have a facebook linked with this Uplay I can use. I will keep trying through all the provided methods till one gets through.

    Edit: I sent a message to the Facebook support, it contains the link to this thread as well.
    Edit2: Someone from facebook support promptly replied, unfortunately it cant be done but there is a request in for a merge account option in the future. I was told to try by phone again, which I shall.

    well I'm back again because just recently I seen a thread in a site I frequent with a user that had a similar problem to mine, except he was able to get his game transferred to the correct account.

    Did something change in uplay? Can we please move blackflag to my account now?

    I barely even play it because it was such a disincentive going back & forth between the uplay accounts & the 2nd acinitiates.com account I had to make to use solely for blackflag.

    I put in a ticket as well, earlier this year I recall getting some errors but its working fine now.

    Hi, as mik said above I was trying to give him the key to blackflag but I was'nt sure what I was doing. You may close this uplay account im posting from and transfer blackflag to his account instead.

    You need to contact the Ubisoft support team to discuss the issue in more detail, they are the team that can check into the possibility of moving your game, but it is not common practice to move games from one account to another. You can contact them through our ticket system's webform found by clicking on "My questions" on this page: https://support.ubi.com

    As I mentioned above I put in a ticket. I reference to this thread within it also.
