I was previously in this Thieves Den while roaming and collecting XP. I killed bandits there. After some time I talked with Rosalia in chapel and got a quest from her. I returned there with here but there are no bandits anymore. So because of it I can't kill their leader and I can't get mysterious book. So this way I can't fulfil the quest and I think I can't proceed with this game further. Or is bandits' leader hidden anywhere behing some secret doors again? Ï found two secret rooms there so far but they were empty. I am sad and I am afraid I will abandon the game if I won't be able to proceed further. If I spoiled my game this way so I think the game system of playing and quests system is very bad. I never experienced something like that in any other game. Can you advise me anybody what to do to fulfill the quest or tell me where the bandits' leader is if I wasn't wasn't able to find him?
Is there any respawn of anything in this game at all?![]()
Did you fight a tough-as-nails boss named Luke on the 2nd Floor? If so, walk Rosalie down to the room you fought him in. She is interested in the book, not the boss. If not, keep searching for secret doors!Originally Posted by Radp55 Go to original post
I don't think so. How I can get to the second floor? I always moved only at one floor so far.Originally Posted by Incendax Go to original post![]()
The stairs down are hidden by a secret door, near a book you readOriginally Posted by Radp55 Go to original post
I think you're fine. To get the book you have to find a secret, Rosalie gives your party the ability to detect secrets so your first pass you wouldn't have seen it to finish the quest without her. Before doing that you may want to go back to the spider den with Rosalie present, there's a secret in there as well.
The only way to know a secret is detected is to listen (unless you happen to look at the wall) you'll hear something like "Do you see that?", or "I found something here", some such like that. Then you know to start looking at the walls for where the secret is.
