Ah okay, mines almost done few minutes left, guess we'll see if its major or just bug fix's etc, Id hoped they'd have patch notes but cant find anything.

I had the same patch, completed it quickly. I have no idea what it was, no extra dlc. Nothing, it did make me aware of all my bonus content which I had at the start of the game again though. Other the that I haven't a clue what it was or what it did.

The multiplayer challenges and accolades in Wolfpack reset for me as I am receiving notifications and XP for things I completed weeks ago, like finishing a Wolfpack session with The Rebel and other things like that. I did not find any fixes for my issues in the single player game nor did I notice anything new on the map. It is very strange for such a large update to do so little. My guess is there was some major issue found buried in the code or they are drastically overhauling how the game interacts and works with the PS4, perhaps with its processing or graphics capabilities. Have any other platforms received this update?

When I tried to start the game there was a message that an update was downloading. Couldn't find anyplace in the menus that indicated size of the download or status. PS3 always had a bar status with percent of download but couldn't find anything in the PS4. Did I miss looking somewhere? I went ahead and started the game and the download was continuing in the background because when I restarted a few minutes later the update was installed.

notifications -> Download's shows you all current and pass downloads on the PS4.

After installing, it has finally recognized that have played previous AC games and has given me the bonus stuff as a result.

That's bloody brilliant! No more searching for patch notes ever again.

Edit: however, seems it varies per game what the Update History shows. While ACIV shows detailed patch notes, I just checked for Battlefield 4 and that just says stuff like "stability and performance improvements" and "crash fixes".
