    End game thoughts about game

I finished the game with lvl 32 group

From what i could see it didnt matter how much my party had hp(blade dancer had 170, while runelord and barb had like 300+ and my mage around 240) or elemental resistances(most of them had like 20-40)

Archery is needed only in ACT 1, after that i cant remember if i fired one arrow

Freemage primordial magic is OP and should be considerably lowered, my implosions critted like 900 whereas my runelord couldnt get more than 500 with fire spells

I havent seen ANY grandmaster level equipment.Totally idiotic that i got grandmaster skills at lvl 20 something and i finished game with expert swords and master arcane orbs and a master 2H mace

Investment into points should be like this : 50 to primary skill(magic, might) 30 to secondary(perception just on one char, spirit) and everything else into destiny.

Mages orbs are OP, needs to be considerably lowered. If lvl 50 is max, that would mean my mage would have like 65% crit chance from dual wield orbs(at lvl 32 i had 45% whereas my heavily destined bladedancer had only 22%) + at least 5% more from magic that grants destiny. And thats from master level equipment

Bladedancer is op, no need for relic swords, just 2 expert ones(only found master that had like 1-2 dmg upgrade) with additional attacks. if off hand procs, thats 4 attacks with like 150 each at lvl 25-30.

Sleep spell is OP, should be lowered to 2-3 turns, no need to explain it

You are able to grandmaster in 4 skills, choose them wisely(since u cant get past 32-34 by end of game

Explore, find relics and dont pass finished quests, when u do find few of relics, then go and give them in, you will get relics to lvl 3(or at least lvl 2) if u have enough quests

Game is far to easy and facroll on adventure level.once you start pumping destiny, wiht skills and crit procs, there is absolutely no monster that can kill you

Dont bother spending too much points for mana and life, after u get to karthal, u can gave rings and amulets that gives 40-50 mana and hp.

Equipment for free mage should solely consist of boosting magic focus(every 4 points is a 1% crit chance)

Armor is heavily underrated, finished the game with armor rates like 24 on freemage, and 40 on other chars

Game is so easy 80% of the time i just spam 111111 and everything dies, Playing on Warrior mode. Blademasters attacks 8 times if GM dagger/dual wield, equip them with elemental daggers with cleave ( addionional elemental damage for group ) and i could finish this game with my eyes closed.

The Grandmaster gear come from the final dungeons..haven't seen them anywhere else. By then I was picking up so much crap that I won't be using, I was hoping to finish the game soon so that I don't need to vendor/throw stuff yet again. Finished the game with 300k+ gold even after spending on what I need.

I was quite lucky not to run into any of the game breaking bugs (seen quite a few reported), and the random generated team I went with was good enough to finish the game (only had access to 4 out of 7 magic schools, but I had Earth and LIght which are really important).

Dont forget that the Light spell Celestial Shield or whatever is an absolute must have at all times during any fight. Burst damage is so high... seems to have no relation to HP or Armor... and unpredictable that if you dont have it up 100% of the time a caster will die. Same with Regen and the fire spell that makes you immune to CC.

Also no one on the forums, that i have seen, has mentioned that the Healer hireling is OPPPPPPPP. If my party is affected by any spells i can cleanse it off them with the hireling for 15g, without spending a turn, and the charcter can continue attacking for that round.

    Didnt know about healer,

TBH, havent used earth magic more than expert level.i mostly used heal party and celestial armour.Rejuvenation was important for me at begining of the game.Havent tried dual wield daggers and i haavent GM'ed in fire and light since i had a bug with priest promotion quest...and a general bug where i lost all my savegames once i finished a game

Itsa bit wierd that only freemage had access to dark magic...at least one char should have it at expert level....

As much as i could see, Barbarian was only one who is "normal" having around 250-300 dmg output solely cause i had 100 str pumped into him with mace GM and 2H GM . If other chars had around this much dmg, then the game could be at least a bit challenging towards the end...killing elite mobs in one hit with implosion and bladedancer's ultimate move is ridiculous...

    Two things:

First, Sleep is not OP. More often then not its resisted, and then its a wasted turn. Plus, you are restricted from using any AoE(be it from spells or items). And then it is an unique school

Secondly, play on Warrior, difficulty curve is much better. ( apart from some Hireling fees. 'I am a mere merchant that lost his cart, etc, etc. Let me join your party to buy your stuff whenever wherever blah blah blah.. Just give me...say...50% of the gold you find???! WTH?!)

Its op when you have 10 enemies waiting each for his turn to come and pound your a** ....2 sleeped enemies makes one open spot for each of those 7 waiting and then you can fokus killing one by one.Aso when you are swarmed from 3 sides(in areas that u cant use bottle neck tile to just have 3, its still OP since you can lay waste to one side and sleep all the others... Also, only resist i got was from endgame dungeon....all others were like 8 out of 10 times sleeped,

And secondly, i inted to play warrior if i ever repair savegames....seems that i cannot :/

    An add to the topic,

Spells without magical focus are lousy in terms of dmg output so use any toon that doesnt have it for healing or supporting.(60 into destiny with GM focus and dual 1h orbs gives insane crit dmg and chance)

game is still rather broken with certain classes, but as a whole the difficulty is about right. I find it more challenging to have a random team and try to fit a strategy around it.
