    unable to beat Gralkor....

In 3 attempts, have been unable to beat Gralkor, using Celestial armor, Earth ward, burning determination, regen and sunder armor.

I've a barbarian, blade-dancer, runepriest and freemage, all lv 11.

It took me a try or two to figure it out. There is a fire spell that prevents stunning, You need to get it and keep it up. This way you can kill him without being stunned. It also pays to put up all armor buffs before you wake him and keep up the buffs too.

Impossible for me too. One or 2 blows from him and I'm always loosing someone.

    2 x melee
    1 x ranger
    1 x healer

I give it up for now

Make sure you have the scroll of Burning Determination that the game puts in a chest before Gralkor's room. You literally cannot sell it.
Start at the Earth Ward gemstone near the bandit forest. Sleep for the night there.
    Touch Earth Ward gemstone.
    Touch Hour of Power statue.
    Touch Arcane Ward gemstone.
    Touch Heroic Destiny statue.
By the time you walk to Gralkor, you will have about 40 turns left.

I had trouble too,if you have light magic expert(or can get it til you have to kill him),definately get this radiant weapon thing, that was freaking useful since it made good dmg and I finally could hit him all the time because otherwise he either blocked or I missed all the time.s basically I nuked him down with regen, the occasional celest armor but mostly this spell+dmg and potions if needed, took only a few turns actually.(precast celestarmopr before engage)

so put it that way,I had problems before using radiatn weapon, the expert lightspell, afterwards it was nearly a piece of cake, it could be that 1character died or was uncon. but generally speaking it wasnt very hard anymore and I didnt have any other buffs from a shrine, maybe 1 if there was one close. But sure,if it helps, get all shrines in the surroundings too.

    @Incendax

    Thank you for the hint

It did help a bit, but I still die.
I could however damage him for 50% this time.

It seems it's hopeless for me. (Maybe not enough vitality)
I will try again in the futur with maybe more dwarf scouts.
Hey are stronger and theire health is also better.

    Thank you anyway

I used a very similar party. Bladedancer, Dwarf Defender, Rune Priest and Freemage. On two different playthroughs i didn't have major trouble with Gralkor. And i didn't bother with Wards.

The most important thing is burning determination. Make sure your rune priest has it and keep it running at all times.
Use your freemage to cast celestial armor only. Refresh it every single round. Only skip a round if you run out of mana.
Put 1 point in your bladedancers earth magic skill, buy regeneration and use it to heal any damage that gets through.

Also, you can sell scrolls. Just rightclick doesn't work. Use left mouse button and drag them to shop inventory.

Ok so what mode are you playing at?

your physical dps are they wearing armor? (leather/plate?)

How much attack rating do they have and how much weapon skill in the weapon they have do they have?

the more weapon you got skilled in ranks and trained up, plus weapons skill increases their weapons damage and hit chance signifigantly, im not talking about adding dealing 5%.

if you have 11 Points in swords and dual wield instead of 0 on gear/rings weapons.

your character will hit so hard it will be ridicolous, i had no issues with him.

Keep in mind also that he is really weak to spells(atleast fire)

also Earth resistance dont help much agianst him whats important is stone armor, abosrbtion shield and aoe heal from Earth, i killed him on turn 2. without anyone dropping any hp.

I can't beat him neither. I tried several times. The only thing which helps me is scroll Burning Determination. But I have only one of it and it worked in fight for me only for about 3 laps. After its expiring I was stunned and dead soon again.I would need to have much more of these scrolls bud they are nowhere for buying. I would go to do something else but I have all my enemies killed when I can go and no respawn is in my game for my impoving just now. I would use some cheats but I don't know where they are and how to use them exactly. I almost never use cheats but in this case I would use them. I am really sad. :
