Xbox One won't progress after infinite black screen !PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!

    Hi Guys,

I will try and explain my problem without spoilers. Hopefully you will understand what I'm saying.

I have reached the end of Sequence 6 and I'm in the real world / present day. After listening to a conversation, my screen entered the infinite black loading screen. I could hear movement when I moved my control pad. I pressed start/menu (even tho I was in the black screen) and went to Quit to leave the game. I then reloaded my saved game, it loads me into the same place in present day and I have one objective to do. I go to the objective to listen to the conversation again, but the people having the conversation aren't even there. I can walk around the whole floor (and other floors) but my Tablet doesn't have a new waypoint or any objectives to do and I can't re-enter my animus.

Please help, I have messaged Ubisoft support and after a long wait, they responded by saying either reinstall the game or go to Google for a walkthrough. The first thing I did was go to Google and that's how I know the game has bugged out. Restarting is not an option, I've done 54% with A LOT of side objectives.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, many thanks in advance.

    Im in the same situation

Support is a joke, They think that telling us to "reinstall the game" is an answer (as if we are a bit slow on the uptake of fixing issues within games). I've put it down to experience and will be wary of buying any other Ubisoft game in the future

In full agreement with you Mrgiggsy.

Support seems to offer no answers after a long wait for them to reply. Don't even bother with Twitter if you haven't tried, it's like there's only one person dealing with customer support. Very frustrating. I will definitely keep this experience in mind when buying any more Ubisoft games.
