Now that's just great. Typically with Ubisoft you get an anti-piracy mechanism that doesn't let you ****ing play the game even though you purchased it.

Friends name don't appear in Kenway Fleet notification messages when helped, or on their vessels. Cannot sync with friends in the statistics menu either, just get a message telling me to add friends. Social event sharing is completely useless, as I can't share the social events I discover with my friends, or receive discoveries from them. Friends also don't appear when using the Friends filter on the laderboards. MP works perfectly. And I can log into uPlay in game without issue. Also have the latest patch installed.

Comments/Additional information: When I hit the additional content menu, I get the unavailable server message after about 2 seconds and the same happens when I select the Uplay login from the main menu. In SP, I get the in game notification of the servers being unavailable every few minutes. I have even tried accessing the Kenway's fleet in game and get the unavailable server message there as well.
I have owned black flag for both the 360 and xb1 and have yet to be able to connect to the server... this is flat out disgraceful, i would like some type of "real" answer, not just the simple generic "we are working on it.... seriously... i owned the 360 version on release day, beat the game unable to do community challenges, with under 15 friends on my list, picked up the xb1 copy a few days ago, and still no connect, i have not issued a ticket because i seriously see no point as hundreds of people are having the same issue... what is the problem? No test of this before release? I would love to know i didnt waste $120 on a broken game, and would really like to.have this issue solved....

Also, not sure it will mean anything but it is the Target Exclusive edition. Any time I try to anything in the main menu, single player, or multiplayer I am told the servers are unavailable. In permanent Limited mode on MP.

I have yet to actually be able to play the multiplayer on AC4. I kept getting 'Upload Bad' when id go into the multiplayer so I contacted my internet provider and upped my bandwith and upload speed. finally got it to say upload good after talking with PlayStation for an hour but even then I could not find any other players regardless of the match criteria. this was all before the 'Limited' status that's has been displayed today. I was going to call UBIsoft but obviously they have a few things going on right now.

Ticket #: None, right now I am so pissed off at how horrid and backwards this whole experience has been that I don't think I want to talk to a live person from Ubisoft. I'd probably just end up swearing at them and anyone I talked to isn't actually at fault for designing, implementing, or continuing to support the broken pile of steaming excrement that is Uplay.
Steam? Origin? GOG? Every MMO I've ever played? Every single on-line service that I use works fine from Russia, but even after the ridiculous amount of hoop-jumping and router-tweaking I've done, I still only get "Connecting to Ubisoft servers, please wait" and the computer will sit there trying to connect for as long as I let it with no error messages or any useful information. I left it on overnight for seven hours with no change. Even after going through all this BS:

Comments/Additional information: I bought the digital deluxe edition of AC4 with the season pass and all DLC for my wife to play. We get all our games through Steam because it is the easiest way to buy legal games in English here in Russia (we're from Minnesota originally). It installed fine. Then Uplay installed and wanted to run whenever AC4 did. This worried me. I can launch AC4 from either Steam or Uplay but either way it is still through Uplay. I log into Uplay fine but then once the game starts and it gets to the screen where the *game* is logging into the Ubisoft servers, all I get is the message on the bottom of the screen "Connecting to Ubisoft servers, please wait" and then the game does *nothing* until I hit "esc" and start in limited mode. Which means no DLC and no Multiplayer. It also means that I will shortly be barred from even playing the *single-player* part of the game since there will be a "Kenway's Fleet" mission that requires you to be connected to Ubisoft's servers.
As it stands now, this is the last Ubisoft game I ever play. Games are supposed to be fun but in the last month I've spent more time trouble-shooting the connection issue than I have playing the game.
