    Disconnected from conflux... again and again and again

    my boyfriend and i just bought this game.. worked perfectly the first two days, but then today happened....
    every other turn or so I'll get the message, that i disconnected from conflux and will be returned to main menu...
    What is going on?

    I really hope this won't continue, as this is definately not what i paid for.
    the game itself seems great, if only i was able to play it.
    If there is no way to fix it, i consider myself as having purchased faulty goods for which i surely should be reimbursed.

    Hoping for an official response.

    Other than the ticket, that doesn't at all address the issues with your servers. It's also quite dismissive and not at not related to her post. How about about you call up the server people and tell them to do their jobs. Uplay has the worst servers. They are worse than EA servers and that says a lot.

    I have a 4770K and a GTX 680. Background tasks are not an issue. This isn't the 1990's, it's 2014. I don't have connection issues to anything else. It's Uplay not us.

    Why does Might and Magic toss people out of their "single player" games without saving when your servers act up? Is Ubisoft's goal to make people regret getting their games?
    If so, mission accomplished.

    I'm going to have to bump this topic, as me and a friend bought this game recently to play online together, so far none of the 10 or so games we have played together lasted more than 45 minutes due to bugs and disconnects from Uplay servers, honestly feel cheated out of my money right now as we own copies of a game we cannot play.

    having EXACTLY the same issue! now, not to repost an entire rant, but...

    A few weeks ago (just before christmas) my router blew up and as I FINALLY had those holidays off I bought 3 ubisoft games (RS 2014, Heroes 6, and far cry 3) so I could play those. I installed them just before my router blew up. Now, as it was about the holidays my provider did not really hurry up sending a new router. I was without any internet for 2 full weeks. (I'm not going to pay for a new router because my provider is being slow)
    Anyway, long story short I could not play ANY of the installed games because I could not connect to the internet or uplay...

    That put aside, I have this ***goty nickname which I'm quite sure I never made. (was extremely surprised to have a Uplay account without having any uplay games too?) They do not offer an option to change your nickname (which is your screen name in every game) and asking ubi support about it they will only tell you to make a new account (requiring you to re-buy all of your games). this is clearly not good service.

    THAT put aside, They are bringing out INCOMPLETE games, and they bring them out with DLC. DLC is meant to give extra's NOT to make extra money!

    THAT put aside, Ubisoft obviously does not care about us and makes half-assed games while their top-crew is working on the AC series.

    Now, when I contact ubisoft about the sheer crap quality of Uplay, I told them their anti-piracy plan (Uplay was meant as the Ubisomethingsomething to fight piracy) did not work and only made life troublesome for people buying it legally. When I told them I could avoid all these bugs with uplay by pirating the games and cracking them myself they TOTALLY ignored my ENTIRE rant about their bugs and all I got was "You cannot promote piracy"

    I mean seriously... Wow.

    I am soon going to build a website for anti-ubisoft reasons on which a community will try to find as many ways as possible to sue ubisoft for all their money's worth or force them down to building proper games again (and remove Uplay from the picture or improve it).

    Like the thread starter stated: I am NOT getting the product I paid for. Ubisoft is one of the biggest gaming companies in the world and can't fix the most simpe bugs within 3 years of a game being in existance? Bunch of potatoes.

    In case you were wondering this is still going on...

    Seems like there is no official comment to this problem. I played this game long ago & got irritated by this problem. Decided to give it another shot today & should've looked at the forums first. I can't get past the second turn of the tutorial, in the middle of a combat with 2 wolves & can't finish the fight without "You've been disconnected, returning to main menu."

    I can literally watch a movie on Netflix, a movie on Amazon, a show on Hulu, download large files, and play other multiplayer games without any latency problems, (not that I would, but I *can*), but... somehow cannot manage to stay connected to a server here. Also, I cannot get unlocks in offline play?

    Lol... are you kidding me, how is this still a thing 7 years later?
