To start, SORRY that I took this off topic TC.Originally Posted by L0rnCyador Go to original post
They're basically a suicide squad right? Either use them for quick hero damage or to soften a fatty? I have only 8 wild cards but working on deck building and if Pao's are the wunderkind that they seem to be I might get one or two...
If you have 1750 Seals, you might think about getting the World Championship Pack. Contains 4 Paos, 4 DAs as well as alot more good Cards (Rares, Epics). Take a look at the list of Card it contains, if you don't have most of the Cards in there, then it represents Good Value.Originally Posted by chipk1988 Go to original post
Sadly that Pack is useless for me, Since I have most of the Cards in there.
Once I know my opponent is using a Lockout or Mill strategy, I surrender.
In fact if I face any Academy hero I auto surrender. Maybe I'll give Hakeem a few turns just to see if maybe he is using a creature/spell deck. It's not worth my time to have a non-enjoyable experience. There is nothing anyone can say or suggest that would make me enjoy playing against these strategies. Even those of you who claim to have effective strategies against lockout/mill, I would still surrender. It's about the principle of these two strategies that I cannot stand. I realize that many of you elite players enjoy playing against these strategies, so to each his own.
Since I don't find these strategies fun, I move on and hope my next match is actually a fun and competitive match. When this game is fun, it's really fun. When this game is against lockout/mill, I have half a foot out the door.
Hate me for surrendering if you like, but I'm not wasting my time against Lockout and Mills anymore.
In the right deck they are very powerful. They act more like a spell than a creature. But it is a spell you can buff with events/spells/hero abilities. Also you can recur them with certain ablities, or even drop one, broken bridge it, then drop it again to attack a 2nd time.Originally Posted by chipk1988 Go to original post
They are good cards, and neutral too.
All Academy decks aren't necessarily boring. I hate playing against Hakeem mill decks as well and I do surrender after a while but decks like Akane, Asalah or even Gazal HotV are fine. Yeah they are slow, control decks that might get repetitive but they're still way better than mill or Cassa/Sandal lock decks.Originally Posted by paultridmo Go to original post
I'm fine with surrendering on the outright, but when I just played a Crag Hack brought enemy down to 3 health in my 3rd turn, and he leaves on his turn and I get NOTHING, then there is something seriously wrong.
This is very open to abuse where people can just leave before the 4th or 5th turn - and they don't lose anything/opponent gains nothing.
