I don't mind, as long as they're right at the start of the duel. Those only happen once in a while, and free wins for me to reach my achievements faster are always welcome.
Mid/end game surrenders are more annoying, because although the opponent gets a penalty, we also get it: we'd earn more gold if the match continued till the end, and a bit more XP as well. I think the penalties for surrendering should be given out to the opponent as compensation.
I'd just like to note that I will surrender at the end of the game if I pass the turn, my opponent has lethal damage on the board and he/she starts screwing around doing other stuff besides killing me. (I'm not implying you do this of course). Most ppl don't do this but a few will, and it's unnecessary when I've freely given the opportunity to win and end the game.Originally Posted by planeswalker17 Go to original post
What Mill deck is basically?Originally Posted by L0rnCyador Go to original post
Thanks
Mill Deck is another type of Stall Deck. Basically, it tries to kill you by putting your Cards in the Graveyard. You don't exactly Die, if all your Cards are in the Graveyard, you just take 1 Damage for every Card you can't Draw.Originally Posted by shionsuke Go to original post
In terms of Stall Deck, Ariana's Version has to be the worst. For one thing, it's probably the Slowest Deck out there, in terms of achieving it's objective. The one I played went something like 30+ turns, before I lost patience and just surrendered.
To compound this, my Idiot of an Opponent, didn't have the Courtesy to include Tower of Oblivion or Paos, to finish Games faster. At still 17 Life, I had to surrender before enduring anymore mind-numbing boredom.
I've had games against Hakeem Mills, Sadal-Locks, Cass-Locks, though Unfun, at least they ended in a reasonable time. The Ariana Mill I fought, has to be a Troll Deck.
Good point. Fortunately i never came across anyone with such behavior, so i hadn't thought of that.Originally Posted by Sebster1618 Go to original post
Well sometimes I get half way through the game and ive got an empty hand, my opponent has a stacked field, my field is nearly empty, and ive depleted my mass damage spells.
At that point, I feel like I have no way of making a comeback, so I surrender instead of putting up a fight or waiting for my opponent to play out his next few moves.
Here's the weird thing I've had a few times. I've LOST, such as the opponent has a great field while mine's empty and only a few cards in hand. I say GG in chat waiting for the end...and the guy doesn't end it. Just ends his turn over and over. I am not sure whether there's more in it the longer a game goes but when I've lost and at that point having my chain yanked I would want a surrender button.
Also another question...when you guys are saying Paos, are you referring to the deathseekers or the hunters? Everyone's got a rager for the deathseekers but I don't see their value other than through quick Hero damage (since the opponent's field is probably not fully protected). If you have 4 I can see that being great for quick finishers but that's a double edged sword since...your field will be empty when you discard them.
Pao Deathseekers.Originally Posted by chipk1988 Go to original post
It lets you win games, even if you don't have Board Control.
