My Top 5 games in 2014:
- Watch_Dogs - it's ready when it's ready :/
- Quantum Break - time travelling ^^
- The Division - the SnowDrop engine looks stunning
- Dragon Age - Inquisition - Bioware
- The Witcher III: Wild Hunt - look forward to this one (played I and II)
The next AC (V), Mass Effect (4) and Uncharted (4) have not been confirmed/announced yet, so they are not on my list.
The only PS exclusive atm I'm sad I won't have is Infamous. I liked the first Uncharted a lot back when I had a ps3 when it came out, but I feel that it's lost it's magic. (I've watched 2 and 3 playthroughs) At the time I had my ps3, I for some reason never played Infamous. I was in the Prototype boat at the time I think... god I was stupid. I so could've played both.
See now... it looks really good, but the Witcher 2 was kinda really bad, so I dunno.Originally Posted by shobhit7777777 Go to original post
In what respect? Story? gameplay? if the latter then which part specifically? Combat? progression?Originally Posted by Kagurra Go to original post
As far as I'm concerned, The Witcher 2 was better written than 99% of the games I've played, and the gameplay was also fantastic...again better than 99% of the games I've played. Maybe its not your cuppa tea?
I can't fully speak on the story, but in 2, gameplay along with general movement just really seem lackluster to me. I honestly thought the combat was not very good. There were also those little quick time event fights, which just seemed terrible to me. It was also a bit buggy.Originally Posted by shobhit7777777 Go to original post
Like I said, 3 looks good. It's tempting, I admit, but considering I don't think it's releasing any time soon, I'll just stick with Dragon Age Inquisition. Way more my cuppa tea I suppose, and besides Destiny that I can play with some good friends and is coming out a lot sooner, DA:I is my most anticipated game of 2014.
