    Any update on this? I just hit sequence 4, and the BL is still not showing up on the map for me. If I sail there it gives me de-sync message and says not available. I've re-downloaded a couple times. Going to try and remove AC4 and do fresh install.

    Nothing new as of yet. Let me know how your uninstall works. Also does it risk your save file?

    You describe the same problem I have, however ive passed sequence 12 and gone through the credits (sequence 13?). So it should have long sense been on the map.

    Though if the rumors are true and the dlc lands on the 17th.... perhaps the title update will fix our issues

    Ok, this definitely is a bug. I un-installed both the BI DLC as well as AC4. turned XB1 off. Re-installed AC4, fired it up. Single player save still there, so I played a bit. After about 10 mins, I popped Ryse in and started playing. While playing Ryse, I started the re-download of the BL DLC. When it completed, I held in the Xbox button when it said "hold for details". From that menu I did the "launch BI DLC" and it started up AC4. It said "Black Island detected", "mystery Island detected" and rambled on about some treasure chests and Altair & Etzio outfits. I was pretty excited, only to find out they are still NOT showing up on the map. BI & MI are on the map legend, but give me desync still. I'm about half way through seq 4.

    I wish Ubi would acknowledge their is an issue. Had a support ticket open, still no update.

    Finally a fix

    -Start your console back up and load the game.
    -On the main menu of the game choose Uplay.
    -Log in to your Uplay account.

    This re-links your Gamer Tag to your Uplay account. Please test the connection after doing so and let me know if it resolves your issue.
    It did work hope this helps anyone having trouble may have to contact support unless you know how to disconnect your uplay account

    This fixed it for me from got the info from i i soft support..... I have unlinked your accounts and I would like you to do the following.

    -Turn your console off completely.
    -Unplug from the power source for 30 seconds.
    -Start your console back up and load the game.
    -On the main menu of the game choose Uplay.
    -Log in to your Uplay account.

    This re-links your Gamer Tag to your Uplay account. Please test the connection after doing so and let me know if it resolves your issue.

    It did work hope this helps anyone having trouble may have to contact support unless you know how to disconnect your uplay account
